Javier Pereira né le 5 novembre 1981 à Madrid, est un acteur espagnol.

Biography

Au cours de son enfance, il a abandonné ses études et a trouvé sa véritable place dans le monde du théâtre. Pour obtenir une bonne éducation, il est entré à l'âge de 14 ans dans l'école de théâtre de Cristina Rota, dans lequel l'actrice Raquel Pérez a enseigné.

Il s'est révélé au grand public grâce à son travail dans les séries BF1 (1999-2000) et Ulo (1997-2001).

Paul Malo a embauché Javier pour jouer dans un film dramatique en 2004, aux côtés de Marisa Paredes et Unax Ugalde, Le Soleil d'hiver (Frío sol de invierno).

Il a joué dans la série Question de sexe (Cuestión de sexo), dans lequel il joue un jeune homme se prénomment Charlie dont la vie est facile pour lui, et ne pense qu'au sexe, il joue au côté d'Ana Fernandez.

En 2008, il a joué dans le film d'épouvante Les Disparus, interprétant Pablo avec l'actrice Ruth Díaz.

Été 2011. Siblings Malena (Ruth Díaz) and Pablo (Javier Pereira) have decided to set out on a road trip to allow Pablo to discover more about their father, who is on life support. Their destination is the old family home in Argentina and initially the trip is fairly mundane. This all changes when Pablo discovers an old journal hidden within their car. The journal details a series of gruesome crimes and Pablo pushes for the two of them to travel to the various landmarks and places described in the journal while they are on their road trip. They end up stopping for the night at a hotel detailed in the journal, where the Lenonadi family was brutally slaughtered. Pablo and Malena take the room adjacent to the room the Lenonadis met their deaths and are horrified to overhear a spiritual reenactment of the murders. The siblings decide to flee but Pablo forgets the book and must return to retrieve it. This nearly ends with Pablo's death and when he has reached safety Pablo notices that some of the details in the book have changed, making him wonder if it is possible for him to change the past. However as they travel Pablo finds that his quest to discover more about his father is bringing both siblings revelations that they are ill prepared to deal with.
