Joseph Benedict Aquino Magsaysay, also known as JB Magsaysay (born July 6, 1980), is a Filipino actor, a public servant, a businessman and was one of the 13 housemates of ABS-CBN's Pinoy Big Brother, Season 1. He was the second evicted housemate on his 35th day in Pinoy Big Brother's house.
Magsaysay was born in San Juan, La Union; he is the grand nephew of former Philippine president Ramon Magsaysay, and also the first cousin of the late Ram Revilla. He graduated with a college degree at the Philippine School of Business Administration in Quezon City. He entered politics for his hometown on May 14, 2007 local elections but he lost.

After Flavio (Bong Revilla Jr.) defeats the evil Lizardo (Phillip Salvador), the powerful villain is revived by the witch Baruka (Lorna Tolentino) and he once again lays siege to the towns to search of Maria (Iza Calzado), Flavio’s betrothed, who also happens to be the daughter of the queen of the forest fairies. Long ago, the evil wizard Lizardo (Phillip Salvador) sent an army of monsters to subjugate the land and its people. Lizardo succeeded, but a prophecy tells of a comet that will fall to Earth, and a man who will wield a weapon that will free the people from Lizardo’s tyranny. Flavio (Bong Revilla Jr.) is a blacksmith content with living a quiet, uneventful life in a town mostly untouched by Lizardo’s evil. But when the comet of prophecy lands on the outskirts of town, Flavio’s destiny is immediately made clear. Around the peace-loving but brave Flavio. His arch-enemy Lizardo attempts to ruin the peace and harmony of their dwelling place, affecting the inhabitants. Moreover, the evil warlord challenges Flavio by capturing his beautiful lady love Maria (Iza Calzado). A series of events take place, bringing the blacksmith (panday) at the forefront of a full-blown war against Lizardo’s troops.
