John Frank Rosenblum is an American film producer, screenwriter, and actor.
He is an internationally recognized expert on motion picture trailers. On September 7, 2006, eNewsChannels reported that he had "exited Lighthouse Productions after fifteen years as a producer to become a partner at Epic Level Entertainment."
Rosenblum is a graduate of the School of Cinematic Arts, University of Southern California and the Darlington School. In 1980, he acquired the license from BBC Enterprises, Ltd to market their television programs to American audiences, and has appeared as on-air talent and ran fan communications, in conjunction with another BBC licensee, Lionheart Television. In 1985, Rosenblum began producing local and national public broadcasting fund raising programming for such BBC programs as Doctor Who, EastEnders, and Red Dwarf.
In 1987, he was given recognition by Public Television for having raised over $1,000,000 for local public broadcasting stations.
Rosenblum is a member of the Producers Guild of America (Producer Council), Screen Actors Guild, Hollywood Branch, and Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Producer Branch).

The film opens with a trio of Dungeons & Dragons characters facing the final villain. However, they are quickly killed and after blaming each other, the players (Cass, Leo, and Gary) blame the game master, Lodge, claiming he did not follow the rules and plotted against them. While Leo and Gary wish to play a different game the following week, Cass demands to play the same campaign again, even though they just played it and lost for the second time, to preserve his reputation that there is no game he cannot win. Lodge wishes to publish his campaign as an official Dungeons & Dragons game module, but he is having trouble writing it: he knows how he wants it to end, but his players never actually finish the module. Gary suggests that for the next game they bring in two more players, in order to have a more well-rounded party. Cass is able to recruit his ex-girlfriend Joanna, and quickly reveals why they split: Cass is overbearing and condescending, belittling Joanna's character design strategy (she chose several abilities that normally wouldn't be useful to her character). The group has otherwise acquired an unfavorable reputation, and Lodge is unable to find anyone else, despite asking fifteen regular gamers.

Johnny Dow struggles to make a living at his small town gas station by charging motorists to see the electric guitar used by his late father, who was a one-hit-rock and roll wonder. Legend has it the guitar was carved in the shape of a dragon's head and made in part from an ancient spear his father found in the crater of a shooting star. When Johnny's friend Eddie stumbles upon the other half of the spear he releases an ancient demon hungry for power and destruction. Mika, a beautiful Chinese warrior who holds the secret to fighting Eddie and his army of kung-fu, sugar-craving warriors reveals to Johnny that the only way to stop the evil spirit is to use the first half of the spear - the dragon on Johnny's guitar! The movie flips between following a group of gamers in a dorm immersed in a role-playing game, and their characters (played by the same actors) as they journey through a world of fantasy and wonder to defeat a being known as "The Shadow" and rescue a princess. The latter is theoretically a heroic quest, but while the game master attempts to foster in a narrative, the players tend to be more interested in their characters' tolerance for ale, trying to apply the sneak attack damage multiplier to siege weaponry, et cetera.

Mormon missionary Joseph Young (Trey Parker), assigned with his mission partner to Los Angeles, finds the city to be an unfriendly and unreceptive place for their work. Things come to a head when they knock on the door of sleazy porn director Maxxx Orbison (Michael Dean Jacobs) and several security guards are sent to deal with them. Joe dispatches all of them single-handedly with a variety of unexpected martial arts skills. Baffled by his performance and fed up with his current project’s lead actor being a wimp, Orbison attempts to hire Joe to be the titular lead of his pornographic superhero film, Orgazmo. Joe is conflicted because of his beliefs but the salary offered would pay for a wedding in the temple in Utah where his fiancée Lisa (Robyn Lynne Raab) has expressed a strong desire to wed. Joe caves in despite being given a sign from God.
