Katherine Woodville (March 12, 1938 – 5 June 2013), also known as Catherine Woodville and Kate Woodville, was an English film and television actress. She was known as Catherine Woodville (1955–1966) in the UK. She changed her professional name to Kate Woodville (1967) on her move to America, where she would eventually become a life member of the Actors Studio. In the 1970s, she was also credited as Katherine Woodville.

Among her many film and television appearances, she was known for her appearances in Z-Cars, The Avengers, Danger Man, Mission: Impossible, Mannix, The Rockford Files, Days of Our Lives and Eight Is Enough. In the original Star Trek series, she played Natira in the episode "For the World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky" (1968). She guest-starred in an episode of Gibbsville in 1976.The Saint Season 3 Episode 4 The Scorpion

She was married twice; first to Avengers star Patrick Macnee from 1965 to 1969, and then to actor Edward Albert (son of Eddie Albert) from 1978 until his death in 2006. She was the mother of poet and songwriter Thaïs "Tai" Carmen.

Woodville retired from acting at the end of the 1970s. She died of cancer on 5 June 2013 at the age of 74. She is survived by her daughter Thaïs.

Howard Nightingale (Kirk Douglas), a U.S. marshal, leads an elite uniformed posse to track down and capture the infamous bank robber Jack Strawhorn (Bruce Dern), in an effort to further his political career when running for United States Senator. Strawhorn disrupts his plans when he kidnaps Nightingale. He demands a ransom of $40,000 from the posse for Nightingale's safe return—the same amount of money that the posse burned when tracking Strawhorn down and killing his gang. In order to raise the money, Nightingale's posse have to rob the town, thus turning the public against Nightingale.

In Los Angeles, a nighttime robbery of an illegal mafia bookmaking operation is carried out by the militant African-American organization BAG (Black Action Group).
