Conan, Agasa, Ran, and the Detective Boys attended the opening ceremony and the observation deck of Bell Tree Tower when a sniper shot at one of the guests at the deck. Conan, having observed possible suspect, pursued the suspect with Masumi Sera joining later. The suspect blown up police patrol cars during the escape and despite FBI's attempt to follow the suspect, the suspect got away. Tokyo Police and FBI later discussed on the possible suspect and discovered that Timothy Hunter is a possible suspect, as the victim is involved with the United States Navy SEALS squadron and the former US military officers in Japan. The suspect uses sniping ability to murder more people in relation to the suspect's past, though Timothy Hunter, the prime suspect, was later found dead and Conan is under the target of assassination when he attempted to stop the murder, only to be intervened by Sera.

The film begins with the Gokai Galleon being chased by the Super Dimensional Highspeed Ship Dolgiran before crashing into the bay. The Gokaigers (sans Gai, who was sent off to buy dinner for them before this incident) confront the legendary Space Sheriff Gavan, who quickly defeats and apprehends them - despite their protests that the Special Police Dekaranger cleared them of all charges claimed by the Space Empire Zangyack. Retsu Ichijouji delivers his prisoners to Space Police Chief Weeval, who reveals himself as Ashurada, a member of the Zangyack Empire and descendant of Don Horror. After revealing his capture of the Gokaigers as a ploy to expose Chief Weeval's true motives, Retsu frees the crew by remotely unlocking their handcuffs, saving them from the firing squad before telling them to leave the premises. In the midst of the battle, the salute given by Retsu triggers a flashback in Captain Marvelous' mind. The Goujyu Drill arrives at the scene to pick up the Gokaigers while Gavan is captured by Ashurada and his creation Gavan Bootleg before they disappear into Makuu Space.

During the Legend War (レジェンド大戦, Rejendo Taisen), the Goseigers and Gosei Knight are overwhelmed by the Zangyack's first invasion force until they are saved by the Gorengers' Akarenger and J.A.K.Q.'s Big One and are told that all the Sentai teams are gathering. With the Sentai supporting warriors giving them safe passage, the Goseigers meet up with the other 33 Super Sentai and the teams proceed to battle the numerous Gormin and Zugormin. The battle reaches its end when Akarenger tells everyone to join their powers together so their combined powers can wipe out the armada. Having survived, the Gosei Angels learn that they and other Super Sentai have lost their powers, which have dispersed all over the universe. Alata believes they can still protect the planet without their powers as the teams go their separate ways.

A year after defeating Yogoshimacritein, the Go-ongers head to the wild western realm of Gunman World (ガンマンワールド, Ganman Wārudo) to defeat Gaiark's Pollution President Batcheed (害統領バッチード, Gaitōryō Batchīdo) in a final confrontation. However, after defeating Engine-oh G9, Batcheed opens up a dimensional rift that sucks the Go-ongers and Engines to other Braneworlds. Soon after, while finding themselves fighting Ugatz, the Shinkengers encounter Go-on Red as he helps takes out the Ugatz on his own, much to the Shinkengers' shock. Soon after, the Shinkengers bring Sōsuke and Bomper to the Shiba House, but Takeru and Sōsuke are unable to work together due to their conflicting personalities. Elsewhere, Batcheed arrives onto the Rokumon Junk to make the Gedoushu an offer to hand him their waters to bring to the mortal realm in order to power his Batchrium Plant. With the Ayakashi Homurakogi supporting him, Batcheed then asks for Yogostein, Kitaneidas, and Kegalesia to support him. However, the trio raid the Gold Zushi cart before they tell the president they want nothing to do with his plan. They then ditch Shinken Gold as they retreat into the Sanzu River while he fights the Ugatz before Go-on Red and the other Shinkengers arrive to support him. The battle ends with the vassals getting sucked into a dimensional rift to save Shinken Red and Go-on Red from Batcheed's attack. While Genta and Mako meet the Sutō Siblings in Christmas World, Kotoha and Chiaki are jailed with Renn and Gunpei by DaiGoyou in Samurai World, and Ryunosuke ends up in Junk World alone until he is found by Saki and Hant as they cheer him up.

The story begins when Geki Red battles Nunchaku Banki after returning from his trip around the world for Natsume's birthday, with Geki Yellow and Geki Blue arriving to provide backup. After sending the Gekirangers into another dimension, the Go-ongers arrive before the Savage Machine Beast departs after his quarry. After clearing a misunderstanding with Geki Violet and Geki Chopper, the two bring them to SCRTC to see Master Xia Fu, with Hant revealing he met Miki at one of his past jobs at the Kyoryuya Curry Shop. After taking Xia Fu to the site, realizing the Gaiark are after Dōkokugan, he opens the path for them to follow as the Gekirangers are overwhelmed by Nunchaku Banki, who demands the sealed Long from Jyan. After the Gekirangers' reunion and meeting the Go-ongers, they take out the Ugats and overwhelm Nunchaku Banki. In retaliation, he steals the Engine Souls as the Pollution Ministers arrive with the mastermind of their scheme, Meka, who reveals himself as the last of Rinjū Hall's fighters. Using the Engine Souls as his hostages, Meka tricks Jyan in giving up the Dōkokugan to save the Engine Souls before sending the Rangers back to their world. As Meka pounds the Dōkokugan into an Engine Soul that is implanted into Nunchaku Banki, the Gekirangers attempt to teach the Go-ongers the ways of the Gekijūken style. Nunchaku Banki arrives to test his new-found power with Meka overseeing it to take in the suffering. The Go-on Wings arrive to take the two trouble makers out of the city before fighting them with what they learned from Gorie.

The 10th Division, led by Tōshirō Hitsugaya and Rangiku Matsumoto are sent to escort an artifact known as the "King's Seal" or "Oin", which is stolen during transport from the Soul Society by an unidentified and masked Soul Reaper and two mysterious Arrancar resembling girls who control fire and lightning. During the attack, Hitsugaya corners and seems to recognize the Soul Reaper, who wounds him and leaves. In the middle of battle, Hitsugaya abandons his post to pursue him and leaves his squad behind to fend for themselves. After the battle, the Soul Society suspects Hitsugaya of treason and orders his immediate capture. The whole 10th Squad is then put under house arrest at which time they can surmise whether or not the division should be abolished.

Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki rescue a plus soul and defeat a hollow in a local park. Afterwards, they send the soul off to Soul Society. With Rukia's assistance, Ichigo successfully flees. Soon after, unidentified ghost-like spirits begin to appear in Karakura Town, before a mysterious Soul Reaper named Senna appears and destroys the spirits. Ichigo, Rukia and Kon (a mod soul inside Ichigo's body), then confront her, but she refuses to answer any questions and leaves. In the midst of said battle, Kon stumbles upon a shadowy figure equipped with dark armor, standing amongst the spirits. Ichigo follows Senna, while Rukia returns to the Soul Society in search of answers.
