Laura Elizabeth Innes (born August 16, 1957) is an American actress and television director. She played Dr. Kerry Weaver on the NBC medical drama ER, and Sophia on the NBC thriller The Event.
Innes is close friends with Megan Mullally and with former ER co-star Maura Tierney.
She is known as an advocate for the disabled community, utilizing her role as a director to help employ disabled people. She is a supporter of the Performers with Disabilities Committee, which is associated with the Screen Actors Guild.

Biography
Innes was born and raised in Pontiac, Michigan, the youngest daughter of six children to Laurette and Robert Innes, a tool and die company executive. Her first fiance was murdered in the early 1980s. A few years after the murder, she married actor David Brisbin and, in 1990, gave birth to their son, Cal. They have since adopted another child, Mia, from China.Innes is close friends with Megan Mullally and with former ER co-star Maura Tierney.
She is known as an advocate for the disabled community, utilizing her role as a director to help employ disabled people. She is a supporter of the Performers with Disabilities Committee, which is associated with the Screen Actors Guild.

In a prologue set in 1976, American epidemiologist Don Francis arrives in a village on the banks of the Ebola River in Zaire and discovers many of the residents and the doctor working with them have died from a mysterious illness later identified as Ebola hemorrhagic fever. Ali Amir, l'ex-mari de Cathy, vient chercher leur fille, Lauren, pour passer le week-end avec lui et doit la ramener le lundi matin suivant à l'école. Peter Sandza (Kirk Douglas), a former CIA agent, is searching for his son Robin, who was kidnapped by a secret intelligence organization inside the CIA led by Ben Childress.
