Her parents was the Lithuanian pianist, composer and theatre director Liudas Jakavicius – Grimalauskas (son of the writer Liudvikas Jakavičius) and Gražina Janavičienė - Jakavičienė - Grimalauskienė, housewife and aunt of the Lithuanian businessman Zenonas Janavičius (Chief Executive Officer of AB Sparta). Now she is Spanish citizen.
