Marjie Lawrence (21 January 1932 – 16 June 2010) was an English theatre, film and television actress. A noted highly adaptable and continually working actress, she spoke the first words uttered on ITV.
After being diagnosed with ovarian cancer, Lawrence died a few weeks later at a hospice in Surrey on 16 June 2010.
Harry Greene collapsed and died a few days after returning home in March 2013 from a holiday with his daughter Sarah and husband, fellow presenter Mike Smith.

Biography
Lawrence and Greene had three children: actress and television presenter Sarah; television presenter Laura; and businessman Robin who runs a business in Switzerland.After being diagnosed with ovarian cancer, Lawrence died a few weeks later at a hospice in Surrey on 16 June 2010.

The plot features Sellers as a naive but caring prison chaplain accidentally assigned as vicar to a small and prosperous country town of Orbiston Parva, in place of Ian Carmichael's upper class cleric, with whom he shares a name. His belief in charity and forgiveness sets him at odds with the locals, whose assertions that they are good, Christian people are in Smallwood's view belied by their behaviour and ideas.
