Matthew Paul Sloan (born November 4, 1974) is an American director and comedian from Madison, Wisconsin. He and his friend Aaron Yonda are notable as the co-creators of Chad Vader, who he also voices in both series and 'spin-off' episodes. Additionally, he appears in season one as the main antagonist, and has a minor appearance in the first few episodes of the second series as said antagonist's father. He hosts a movie reviewing and discussion show on YouTube called "Welcome to the Basement" with his friend Craig Johnson, who stars in the web series "Chad Vader: Day Shift Manager" as well. Furthermore, he leads regularly with his friend Aaron Yonda in a popular web series "Beer and Board Games.

During a space battle over Coruscant between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance, Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker lead a mission to rescue the kidnapped Supreme Chancellor Palpatine from Separatist commander General Grievous. After infiltrating Grievous' flagship, the Jedi engage Count Dooku in a lightsaber duel, which ends with Anakin killing Dooku at Palpatine's urging. Grievous flees the battle-torn cruiser, which the Jedi crash-land on Coruscant. There, Anakin reunites with his wife, Padmé Amidala, who reveals she is pregnant. Initially excited, Anakin begins to have premonitions of Padmé dying in childbirth.

Ten years after the Trade Federation's invasion of Naboo, the Galactic Republic is threatened by a Separatist movement organized by former Jedi Master Count Dooku. Senator Padmé Amidala comes to Coruscant to vote on a plan to create an army of the Republic to assist the Jedi against this threat. Narrowly avoiding an assassination attempt upon arrival, she is placed under the protection of Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi and his apprentice Anakin Skywalker. The two Jedi thwart another attempt on her life and subdue the assassin, Zam Wesell, a shape-shifter who is killed by her bounty hunter client with a toxic dart before she can reveal his identity. The Jedi Council assigns Obi-Wan to identify and capture the bounty hunter, while Anakin is assigned to escort Padmé back to Naboo, where the two fall in love.

Quinn McKenna, membre d'un commando de Rangers américains, est témoin du crash d'un vaisseau spatial lors d'une mission de sauvetage d’otages. Il est le seul survivant. Il découvre le casque et l'arme d'un Predator. Poursuivi, il décide de les envoyer par la poste à son domicile, où vit son épouse et son fils autiste, Rory. Ce dernier parvient à utiliser le masque et l'arme du Predator. Il active par ailleurs une balise qui permet à d'autres Predators de le localiser. De son côté, Quinn a été arrêté par de mystérieux mercenaires, aux ordres de Will Traeger pour le Projet Stargazer. Ce dernier fait par ailleurs appel au docteure Casey Bracket, une exo-biologiste. Elle est accueillie dans un immense complexe dans lequel est conservé un Predator. Quant à Quinn, il se retrouve dans un bus avec d'anciens soldats ayant commis de graves délits et dont la plupart souffrent de troubles psychologiques : "Nebraska" Williams, Baxley, Coyle, Lynch et Nettles.
