Megan Duffy (born August 22, 1979 in Springfield, Massachusetts) is an American actress and producer based in Los Angeles, California.

Biography

Megan Duffy was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and was raised in Enfield, Connecticut. She spent her youth and teen years studying dance, winning a scholarship to Broadway Dance Center at age 14. When an injury kept her from further pursuing dance, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she now works as a print model, actress, and producer.

As an actress, Duffy has appeared in several national commercials and on TV shows including Torchwood: Miracle Day, Mad Men, Criminal Minds, and Gilmore Girls. Megan has also appeared in music videos for Regina Spektor, Travis, Robert Randolph and the Family Band and My Chemical Romance. She plays Lucie in the feature film Maniac.

Megan's credits as a producer include the independent film Your Name Here starring Bill Pullman and music videos including Smashing Pumpkins's G.

Elise Miller (Grace Helbig) is a twenty-something writer who is engaged to Jeff Sanford (Chester See), and who has already finished her first book, which is said to include "unrequited love and the Loch Ness Monster." At work, Elise accidentally sees her boss, Celia Burrows (Rachel Quaintance), making out with Walker Paige (Sawyer Hartman), of the hit "Midnight Moonlight" series. Her friend Manda (Megan Duffy) takes some photos of the two, which Elise accidentally uploads to the book's Facebook page; this blunder costs Elise her job. She returns home, only to find out that Jeff has been cheating on her, so she returns to her old apartment. She gets drunk, and calls Sally Meister (Ellen Karsten), the head camp counselor of Elise's old camp, Camp Takota, whom she met earlier again after eight years, and tells her that she's going back to camp. The next morning, Elise wakes up realizes what she has done, and decides to head to camp anyway. Arriving with the Fefferman family, including their young daughter Penny, Elise finds that her old friends and former Takota campers, Maxine Reynolds (Mamrie Hart) and Allison Henry (Hannah Hart), now work at the camp.

Frank Zito is a mentally disturbed young man who has taken over his family's mannequin sales business after the recent death of his mother, who also moonlighted as a prostitute. During the summer of 1974, science-fiction writer William J. Frick (Bill Pullman) is having a meltdown. Despite having numerous popular titles to his credit, Frick is penniless.
