The film deals with a peculiar narrative, the life of John (Adolfo Jimenez Castro). A wealthy householder who, with his wife Natalia (Nathalia Acevedo) and their two young sons Eleazar (Eleazar Reygadas) and Ruth (Ruth Reygadas), decide to change the life of the city for the plain and simple country life. Starting again with an ostentatious house (a comparison of the few neighbors who live there) begin to enjoy the momentary taste of rural life seems to evoke. Thus, the gradient taste that prevailed at the beginning, begins to crumble for marriage. The children, on the other hand, nothing cumbersome and enjoy perfect life offered by this bleak place.
