Mia Sampson (Sarah Lind), an unpopular girl, is approached at the mall one day to become a model. Even though she thinks modeling is shallow, she thinks it will be a better way to earn money than working for a sushi restaurant and goes to the agency. She poses for photographs which are to be displayed on an Internet website for "members only," supposedly so she can be scouted for other modeling jobs. As Mia's membership begins to go up, she begins feeling uncomfortable and also receives disturbing messages from a subscriber known as Gabriel. However, she continues to take shots and even participates in live video chats with the gentlemen of the site. Too late, Mia realizes that she is working for a pornography site and goes to a group called webwatch to uncover the operation. However, since the agency isn't doing anything illegal, the police can't do anything.

Une nuit de 1967, le jeune René, 11 ans, aperçoit les ébats amoureux de ses parents. Le lendemain matin, son père est retrouvé mort d'une crise cardiaque. Croyant sa mère responsable du décès, le gamin garde en lui ce secret et refuse de grandir, dégoûté de la sexualité. Fort possessif, il éprouve beaucoup de difficultés à voir sa mère s'éprendre d'un autre homme. L'arrivée d'une nouvelle voisine va cependant lui apporter un peu de réconfort.

Au début du XX siècle, Max, jeune homme de dix-huit ans, s'engage dans la Marine. Il devient le Matelot 512, envoyé à Lorient et affecté au service du commandant Roger, comme ordonnance. Il doit épouser Colette, une humble domestique, mais il tombe amoureux fou de la femme du commandant, qui devient sa maîtresse. Accusé de meurtre il est condamné, dégradé et enfermé dans une geôle sur un cuirassé qui, en 1911, explose en rade de Toulon. Il en sort indemne, s'échappe mais il passe pour mort. Il refait sa vie sous une fausse identité et s'engage dans la Légion étrangère.
