Richard Harrington (born 12 March 1975) is a Welsh actor.
On stage he has toured with Fiction Factory/Y Cwmni's productions of Ed Thomas' plays House of America, Gas Station Angel and Stone City Blue.
Harrington speaks Welsh as a second language. He spoke it throughout the Welsh-language crime drama Y Gwyll, in which he played the principal role as lead detective. He says the seven months filming Y Gwyll improved his fluency significantly.
He took part in the 2012 and 2013 Snowdonia Marathon.
He has two sons; Ralff Joseff, born 2006 and Ned, born 2007.

Biography
Harrington was born in Gurnos and brought up in Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil. He has had starring roles in Bleak House, Jimmy McGovern's Gunpowder, Treason & Plot, and Gavin Claxton's comedy feature film The All Together. He has also had roles in Coronation Street, Spooks, Casualty, Holby City, Hustle, Dalziel and Pascoe, Silent Witness, and Lark Rise to Candleford.
