Roopa Sree is an Indian actress. She has done Kannada, Tamil-language and Malayalam movies. She made her Malayalam debut with the movie Kallanum Polisum in 1992 with Mukesh in the lead. Currently she is acting in Chandanamazha, a Malayalam serial, in Asianet. She won best actress award in character role for portraying the role of Oormila Devi in Chandanamazha serial in the Asianet Television Awards 2014.

Biography

Sree hails form Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She has four sisters. She started her acting career, at the age of 13 years, as a heroine. later she moved to character roles and supporting roles. She appeared in glamorous roles as well. She took a break from movies after marriage. Her husband is also in film field. Again she made a come back through serials and now she is appearing in Tamil and Malayalam serials. Currently the actress is settled with her husband and children in Chennai.
