She has starred in 53 films, 10 television shows, and recorded 40 albums. Her popularity has translated into the field of advertising, where she is the highest paid Filipino celebrity endorser.
On November 22, 2011, following months of speculation, Sharon's move to TV5 was made official by signing a 1 billion contract with the Kapatid Network – the highest ever paid to a Filipino artist. She parted ways with ABS-CBN, her home network of 24 years, on a cordial note. Her daily afternoon talk show Sharon: Kasama Mo, Kapatid premiered on May 14, 2012, and has been called an engaging program that aims to entertain and to inspire.

Les manchots empereurs vivent en colonie en Antarctique. Au milieu de leurs congénères, chaque couple de manchots lutte contre les conditions extrêmes pour perpétuer l'espèce et protéger leur petit des nombreux obstacles et dangers qui les guettent. Chaque année est un cycle qui voit la naissance d'un seul petit manchot par couple, dont beaucoup n'atteindront pas l'âge adulte, voire n'auront pas la chance de naître. Outre le grand froid, le vent et les tempêtes, ils affrontent des prédateurs tels que le léopard de mer et le pétrel géant. Les parents alternent entre protection de l'œuf puis du petit dans l'intérieur des terres (plus stable et protégé que la banquise) et pêche sur le littoral. Des kilomètres de marche sont alors nécessaires pour utiliser les avantages de ces deux territoires alors que le manchot, bien plus à l'aise dans l'eau, est incapable de voler et se déplace avec difficulté sur le continent.

Corazon (Sharon Cuneta) and Clark (Andrew E.) have an adventure throughout Metro Manila running away from kidnappers led by Brando (Bong Alvarez). They escape the kidnappers after a confrontation with Brando in a Jollibee restaurant while eating on a pick up truck to Clark's house where his cousin Bugoy (Smokey Manaloto) and Neneng (Maybelline dela Cruz) live. However the kidnappers locate them when they follow Bugoy who was riding the pick up truck which they recognized while Bugoy was in a gas station refueling the pick up truck to Clark's house causing Clark and Corazon to escape back to Metro Manila to get help leaving Bugoy and Neneng behind unharmed. When they reach the attorney's (Charito Solis) house with help from Clark's boss Mr. Calderon (Jon Achaval) they defeat the kidnappers and Elias (Andy Poe) who is behind the kidnapping attempt on Corazon is arrested by his wife Marga (Gloria Sevilla) who discovered his treachery and she explains to Corazon that her husband is behind on attempt so he wants the money to belong to her. In the end, they became rich.
