Ben, 17 ans, doit passer les vacances d’été chez son père Heinrich, qui travaille comme régisseur de théâtre à Marrakech. Hein (Peter Heinrich Brix), un pêcheur de crevettes sur la Frise orientale, ne s'entend plus avec sa femme Rieke. Celle-ci a pris la décision de le quitter. Hein peut compter sur le soutien de son collègue Matze, qui veut l'aider à trouver une nouvelle compagne. Lors de son séjour à Tanger au Maroc, Hein fait la connaissance de Mona (Sanâa Alaoui) , une décortiqueuse de crevettes marocaine. Après avoir passé un moment à discuter et à sympathiser, Hein lui propose de venir chez lui pendant quelque temps pour faire des essais. Mona le rejoint en Allemagne quelques semaines plus tard.

A nudist site in eastern Germany is sold to Dieter Lohe, a conservative textile manufacturer from Bavaria. He visits his new property with his daughter Natalie, and plans to use the property as a hunting ground. For fear of losing their tenancy agreement, the members of the association adjust to Lohe's presence by walking around dressed. Jakob Steiner, the son of the club's leader, doesn't accept the nudist family tradition and because of this argues with his father. Jacob becomes close friends with Lohe's daughter. Lohe eventually gets wise to the clothed nudists, and after a few complications all of the parties involved come to an arrangement.
