Broderick Stephen "Steve" Harvey (born January 17, 1957) is an American comedian, television host, radio personality, actor, and author. He hosts The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Steve Harvey (the talk show), and Family Feud. He is the author of Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, which was published in March 2009, and the book Straight Talk, No Chaser: How to Find and Keep a Man.
Harvey previously hosted Showtime at the Apollo, starred in The Steve Harvey Show, and was featured in The Original Kings of Comedy. He is a three-time Daytime Emmy Award winner, and an 11-time NAACP Image Award winner in various categories.
In June 2007, he married Marjorie Bridges, who he says is responsible for making him a better man and changing his life. Marjorie Harvey has three children of her own, Morgan Harvey (born 1987), Jason Harvey (born 1991), and Lori Harvey (born 1997). Steve raises them as his own. Steve and Marjorie have three grandchildren, Rose Harvey (born 2014) and Noah Harvey (August 21, 2015), through Jason's marriage to Amanda, and Morgan's daughter Elle (born 2015) with her husband Kareem. Harvey and his family split their time between Atlanta (where he hosts his radio show) and Chicago (where he hosts his talk show for NBCUniversal from the company's Chicago studios, though he will host his radio show there as well).
Harvey is a self-proclaimed Christian.

Biography
Harvey has been married three times and has seven children. He has twin daughters, Karli and Brandi (born 1982), and a son Broderick Steve Jr. (born 1991), from his first marriage to Marcia Harvey. Harvey also has another son, Wynton (born 1997), from his second marriage to Mary Shackelford. The couple divorced in November 2005. In 2011, Collin County (Texas) 199th District Court Judge Robert Dry expressed concern about Mary Harvey spreading false information about the divorce, with the judge suggesting that she had not been left materially destitute.In June 2007, he married Marjorie Bridges, who he says is responsible for making him a better man and changing his life. During a thunderstorm, a traveling circus accidentally leaves behind a baby zebra. The foal is rescued by widower Nolan Walsh, a former Thoroughbred-racehorse trainer who retired when his wife, a jockey, died in a racing accident. Nolan takes the zebra home to his farm and leaves it under the care of his daughter Channing "Chan" Walsh, who names him "Stripes". Stripes befriends the other farmyard animals, including Saanen goat Franny and Shetland pony Tucker. In 1980, a young boy named Darrin Hill (Cuba Gooding, Jr.) and his mother, MaryAnn (Faith Evans), are run out of town after MaryAnn was soon discovered to be a singing secular music when she also sings in a church choir. Aunt Sally (Ann Nesby) attempts to defend MaryAnn, but it fails. The church's cowardly pastor, Reverend Lewis (Wendell Pierce), is too afraid of the other church members to let her stay. MaryAnn and Darrin are last seen saying goodbye to Aunt Sally, as they sadly wave goodbye with each other. In 2003, Darrin has grown up to become a successful advertising executive in New York City with a bad habit of lying. Darrin's only true friend and secretary, Rosa Lopez (Lourdes Benedicto), does a good job at keeping his credit problems under control. However, Darrin has achieved so much under false pretenses and faked his college degree and high school diploma. Darrin also lied about being the son of a congressman, and his lies soon catch up with him and get him in trouble with his paranoid boss (Dakin Matthews) and Darrin loses his job. After being tracked down by a private investigator, Darrin soon finds out that Aunt Sally has died.

In response to taxation on trade routes in the Galactic Republic, the Trade Federation organizes a blockade of battleships around the planet Naboo. Supreme Chancellor Valorum dispatches Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi to negotiate with the Trade Federation leadership to end the blockade. Darth Sidious, a Sith Lord and the Trade Federation's secret adviser, orders Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray to kill the Jedi and invade Naboo with an army of battle droids. The Jedi flee to Naboo, where Qui-Gon saves Gungan outcast Jar Jar Binks from being killed during the invasion. Indebted to the Jedi, Jar Jar leads them to an underwater Gungan city. There the Jedi try but fail to persuade the Gungan leader, Boss Nass into helping the people of Naboo, though they are able to obtain transportation to Theed, the capital city on the surface.
