Tom Troupe (born July 15, 1928) is an American actor and writer.
Primarily a stage performer, he appeared in many plays over the years including The Lion in Winter, The Gin Game and Father's Day. He and his wife, Carole Cook, were jointly honored with the 2002 L.A. Ovation Award for Career Achievements. His appeared in such feature films as The Devil's Brigade (1968), and Kelly's Heroes (1970).

Biography
Troupe was born in North Kansas City, Missouri, and studied with Uta Hagen at the Herbert Berghof Studio in Manhattan during the early 1950s. He made his Broadway debut in 1957 as Peter in the original Broadway production of The Diary of Anne Frank, which starred Joseph Schildkraut and Gusti Huber.Primarily a stage performer, he appeared in many plays over the years including The Lion in Winter, The Gin Game and Father's Day. He and his wife, Carole Cook, were jointly honored with the 2002 L.A. Ovation Award for Career Achievements. His appeared in such feature films as The Devil's Brigade (1968), and Kelly's Heroes (1970).

Phil Fuller (Tabori) is a 17-year-old high school student who lives in a small apartment with his young single mother. He assumes a facade of cynicism and tells his English teacher (Pressman) that he considers himself "smarter that 99% of the people". Seduction is his hobby. He beds the neglected wife of the high school basketball coach (Mason) by feigning being a sexually pent up virgin. Phil seduces a virginal classmate (Sherry Miles) by inviting her for a swim. American Lieutenant Colonel Robert T. Frederick is summoned to Britain where he is authorized by Admiral Louis Mountbatten to raise a commando force comprising both American and Canadian personnel for operations in Norway. Back in the U.S. Frederick receives his American troops — all are Army convicts. When the Canadian contingent arrives they immediately cause friction with the Americans and chaos ensues. By the time Frederick manages to overcome the national differences and to mould the 1st Special Service Force into a highly trained commando force, the Allied High Command have had a change of heart and offered the Norway missions to British troops. Left without a role, Frederick manages to persuade General Mark Clark in Italy to give his men a chance to prove themselves. Clark asks Frederick for the 1st Special Service Force to reconnoitre a German garrison in an Italian town, but Frederick decides to go one better and capture the entire town. Convinced now of the ability of Frederick's men, Clark gives them the task no other Allied troops have managed to achieve — to capture Monte la Difensa. Facing severe obstacles, they drive the Germans off the stronghold, allowing the allies to continue their advance into Italy.
