Vishwamitra Gokel (1940—2009) was a Bollywood film producer and director. The first person in film industry who had given remaining amount to Mere Baad’s cast & crew after 8 years of critically acclaimed but commercially unsuccessful film Mere Baad’s release. He has produced and directed two films like Bhala Manus and Mere Baad. A competent director soft spoken, unassuming Vishwamitra deserves full credit for his handling of a difficult subject like film Mere Baad. He has directed well praised serial Rishtey for Zee TV in his career.
