William Peed is a Scriptwriter and Animation Coordinator American born on 29 january 1915
William "Bill" Bartlett Peed, aussi connu sous le pseudonyme de Bill Peet, est un scénariste américain, né le 29 janvier 1915 à Grandview (Indiana), mort le 11 mai 2002 à Studio City (Californie).
Il partageait avec Walt le goût de la campagne avait un talent d'humoriste conjugué à une capacité de créer des personnages ancrés dans la réalité et proche de la Terre.
Il quitte le studio en 1964 durant la production du Livre de la jungle (1967) pour se consacrer à la littérature enfantine.
Il fut nommé aux Disney Legends en 1996.

Biography
Il commença sa carrière aux studios Disney en 1937 comme apprenti animateur. Sous le pseudonyme de Bill Peet, il fut l'un des principaux scénaristes des studios Disney, de Pinocchio (1940) à Merlin l'Enchanteur (1963). Dessinateur de formation, il s'occupa également de la conception de nombreux personnages.Il partageait avec Walt le goût de la campagne avait un talent d'humoriste conjugué à une capacité de créer des personnages ancrés dans la réalité et proche de la Terre.
Il quitte le studio en 1964 durant la production du Livre de la jungle (1967) pour se consacrer à la littérature enfantine.
Il fut nommé aux Disney Legends en 1996.

Songwriter Roger Radcliffe lives in a bachelor flat in London, along with his dalmatian, Pongo. Bored with bachelor life, Pongo decides to find a wife for Roger and a mate for himself. Set in London, circa 1900, George and Mary Darling's preparations to attend a party are disrupted by the antics of their boys, John and Michael, acting out a story about Peter Pan and the pirates, told to them by their older sister, Wendy. Susie is a small blue coupe on display in a dealer showroom who is bought by a well-to-do man who is taken with her. Thrust into high-society, she finds herself surrounded by much larger, more luxurious cars but eventually makes do. She is pampered, but time takes its toll on her, mechanically and cosmetically; eventually, her owner trades her in. A second man buys her but her new life is much less pampered, being left outside in the cold and being poorly maintained. One night, she is stolen, chased by the police and totaled in the resulting wreck. Rotting in a junkyard, all looks hopeless for Susie when a young man notices her, buys her, and with the help of his friends, completely restores and revives her into a brand new hotrod.

On a golden spring day at the bank of a tranquil river, a young 12-year-old girl named Alice grows bored listening to her older 19-year-old sister read aloud from a history book of William I of England. When her sister chastises Alice's daydreaming, Alice tells her kitten Dinah that she can live in a nonsensical magical land called Wonderland. While daydreaming, Alice spots a waistcoat-wearing White Rabbit passing by, exclaiming that he is "late for an important date". Alice gives chase and follows him into a rabbit hole, and falls into a large furnished hole. Her dress catches her fall like a parachute and she floats gently down. She sees the White Rabbit disappear into a tiny door and tries to follow, but the door's talking knob advises her to alter her size using a mysterious bottle marked "Drink Me." The contents shrink her to a fraction of her normal size, but the door is locked and the key is out of reach. She then takes a bite of a cookie that says “Eat Me” and grows large enough to fill the entire room. She begins to weep large tears that flood the room. The doorknob then tells Alice to drink from the bottle again, which causes her to shrink once more. Alice falls into the bottle and passes through the door's keyhole and into Wonderland. She meets several strange characters including the Dodo and Tweedledee and Tweedledum who recount the tale of "The Walrus and the Carpenter".
