Wacky (Dingdong Dantes) and Cat (Bea Alonzo) are childhood best friends. Cat is in love with Wacky, but the two had a fight, which made Cat decide to go home. On the way one of her car tires got flat, and it began to rain. David (Enrique Gil) saw her fixing her car, and took a video of it. David fell in love with her instantly, and he posted the video on the internet entitled "Girl in the Rain". The video became popular. David's best friend, Gillian (Liza Soberano) does not want him to meet the "Girl in the Rain". Wacky helps David look for the girl, not knowing that it is Cat. Elsewhere, Cat's mentally challenged sister watches the video and points out that it is Cat. At first, Wacky couldn't convince Cat to meet with David but eventually, Cat relented.

Benjamin "Benjie" Santos VIII (Vice Ganda) comes from a long line of warriors and soldiers. His grandfather, Benjamin Santos VI (Eddie Garcia), expects him to be in the army and to be like his ancestors who fought every battle in the country. He lives with his parents and two sisters named Jesamine (Angelie Urquico) and Anjamin (Abby Bautista). His father, Benjamin Santos VII (Jimmy Santos), gave up being a military soldier to be what he wants to be, a scientist and an inventor. Benjie's grandfather did not agree with his decision, so they were forced to leave his grandfather's house and to never come back. They now live in a cramped house, where they started a new life. Awarded radio personality George Harrison Apostol, known as DJ Heidee to her listeners (Sarah Geronimo), provides love advice to people who are having problems in their relationships. DJ Heidee receives a call from a girl named Melissa (Megan Young) who is asking advice on how to break up with her boyfriend Andrew (Gerald Anderson). Unfortunately, Andrew is listening to the same program and hears Heidee telling Melissa how they should break up. Andrew blames Heidee for what happened and even threatens to sue her for giving that particular advice. In order to prevent a legal battle, and to ease her conscience, Heidee decides to help Andrew win Melissa back. In the process of getting the two together, Andrew and Heidee begin to feel an attraction toward each other.
