Aniplex Inc. (株式会社アニプレックス, Kabushiki-gaisha Anipurekkusu) (formerly known as Sony Pictures Entertainment Music Publishing Inc., Sony Pictures Entertainment Visual Works Inc., and Sony Music Entertainment Visual Works Inc.) is a Japanese anime and music production and distribution enterprise owned by Sony Music Entertainment Japan and established in September 1995. Aniplex has been involved in the planning, production and distribution of several anime series, such as Fullmetal Alchemist, Blood: The Last Vampire, Persona 4: The Animation, Birdy the Mighty, Angel Beats!, Rurouni Kenshin and Charlotte. Additionally, Aniplex produces and distributes music and soundtrack records, including the original soundtracks for all of Sony Computer Entertainment's computer and video games.

Aniplex is also involved in retail merchandising, producing toys, games, stationery, food and other items featuring popular characters. In addition,Aniplex puts together events to promote their anime franchises. For example, in 2005 Aniplex held the Fullmetal Alchemist Festival which began with the Fullmetal Alchemist Tour at Universal Studios Japan.

Originally known as Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) Visual Works Inc., it was established on September 1995 as a joint-venture between Sony Pictures Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment Japan, and changed its name in January, 2001 to Sony Music Entertainment (SME) Visual Works Inc. after becoming a subsidiary completely owned by Sony Music Entertainment Japan. In April 2003, it changed its name to Aniplex Inc.

In 2004, Aniplex launched the Sugi Label, which releases the works of Koichi Sugiyama—the composer of the music for Dragon Quest, but since 2009 it was sold to King Records.

In March 2005, the company established its American affiliate company Aniplex of America, and later that same year in May 2005, it established its own animation studio called A-1 Pictures.

The film opens with Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno watching a film starring Yukie Fujikaze, in a local cinema. Kakashi Hatake has summoned them to watch it as preparation for their next mission: to prevent Yukie, who plays Princess Gale in the films, from being captured during production of her latest film. Yukie is later revealed to be Koyuki Kazahana, a princess from an island known as the Land of Snow. Doto Kazahana, who is revealed to be Koyuki's uncle, was responsible for the murder of her father Sosetsu in a coup d'etat. During the shooting of the film, Doto's henchmen, wearing Chakra armor, attempt to capture the princess, but Team 7 manages to delay the princess from being captured. Doto eventually captures Koyuki and kills her bodyguards, who reveal themselves in an attempt to protect and restore her rightful place as the ruler of the Land of Snow. Naruto enters the ship to rescue the princess, only to be captured and forced to wear a chakra-draining device. Doto forces Koyuki to hand over a crystal necklace her father had given her when she was young, thinking that this is a key that can unlock the hidden treasure Sosetsu had left behind before detaining both Koyuki and Naruto.

The movie starts with Junpei being kidnapped by a member of Strega, Chidori Yoshino, while Makoto and the rest are fighting Takaya, Jin, and the Shadow Arcana Hanged Man. As they're fighting, Makoto is knocked unconscious and sees a vision of Pharos, telling Makoto that he will be leaving despite Makoto's plead for him not to. Awakened, Makoto and his friends succeed in defeating the Shadow Arcana and save Junpei. Following the Shadow's defeat, Takaya and Jin retreat while Chidori is captured by SEES. The next day, Makoto and his friends along with Takeharu Kirijo decide to celebrate their victory for defeating all twelve Shadow Arcana and destroying Dark Hour. However, during the celebration party when the time reaches midnight, the Dark Hour started, shocking them. They then confront Ikutsuki at Tartarus, revealing that he had changed the recordings made by Yukari's father to lead them to defeating the twelve Shadow Arcana, which will bring the end of the world known as "The Fall". Using Aigis' controller, he controls Aigis to capture and crucify all SEES members except Takeharu whom Aigis holds at gunpoint. Takeharu breaks free and shoots Ikutsuki, but he is fatally shot as well by the latter, killing him. Just before Aigis could kill them, she regains control of herself and instead frees her friends. Cornered, Ikutsuki falls to his death from the tower due to his gunshot wound.

The story takes place in the Japanese city of Chichibu, where the story revolves around a young girl by the name of Jun Naruse. The movie starts with SEES' battle in a full moon phase on July. Junpei Iori, Akihiko Sanada, and Mitsuru Kirijo are fighting the Shadow Arcana Hierophant with Fuka Yamagishi providing tactical support for them. Meanwhile Makoto Yuki and Yukari Takeba are captured by the Shadow Arcana Lovers and under its spell but eventually free themselves from it. Defeating the Hierophant, Junpei, Akihiko, and Mitsuru regroup with Makoto and Yukari, and they defeat the Arcana Lovers. Unbeknownst to them, they are observed by three mysterious people. Makoto and the others goes to Yakushima for a break and they spend most of the day playing at the beach. While trying to flirt with women under Junpei's insistence, Makoto encounters a mysterious blonde haired girl. At night, Mitsuru's father, Takeharu Kirijo, gathers everyone and reveals that the Dark Hour and the Shadows were created by an accident caused by Mitsuru's grandfather Kouetsu Kirijo and Yukari's father Eiichiro Takeba in an attempt to create a device that could manipulate time. He shows a video left by Yukari's father, who reveals that SEES can end the Dark Hour by destroying the twelve Arcana Shadows. This revelation shocks Yukari who feels responsible for her father's sin, but Makoto comforts her. Entering the Dark Hour, Makoto and Yukari are attacked by Shadows and are almost killed until the blonde haired girl from earlier, revealed to be a Persona user, saved them. Shuji Ikutsuki introduces the girl as Aigis, a 7th Generation Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon developed by the Kirijo Group, and she joins SEES.

Soon after discovering two strange rubbed-out pages, the siblings hear some strange noises and Ashley goes ahead to investigate, but a worried Julia follows to a room where she finds the bodies of her parents hung up and dripping blood. She watches in horror as her brother is attacked and presumably murdered to which she faints.

In Cencoroll, large, mostly white amorphous creatures have been appearing in a town modeled after Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. Tetsu (テツ) (Hiro Shimono) is a male high school student who keeps one such shapeshifting creature named Cenco (センコ, Senko), which he can control via telepathy, though wants to keep it a secret. An inquisitive girl named Yuki (ユキ) (Kana Hanazawa) chances upon Cenco at school when it is transformed into a bicycle. After Tetsu arrives to retrieve the bicycle, Yuki inadvertently causes Cenco to transform back into its normally large form by poking it in the eye. Yuki is much more interested in Cenco than Tetsu and accompanies them into town. There, a boy named Shū (シュウ) (Ryōhei Kimura), who controls two of the creatures, confronts Tetsu in order to obtain Cenco. Tetsu manages to fend off Shū's attacks while also protecting Yuki, and they leave while Shū's creature is incapacitated. Shū confronts Yuki later that day and gets her to tell Tetsu to meet and fight Shū again.
The Garden of Sinners: A Study in Murder (Part 2), 2h1

Set after Oblivion Recorder, a new spate of ferocious murders has caught the eye of both Shiki and Daisuke, Mikiya’s cousin who investigated the murders before. Shiki wanders the back alleys of the business district, searching for the murderer and avoiding attacks by local thugs while Mikiya becomes more and more wor­ried about her, beginning his own investigation that takes him down a path populated by drug pushers and prostitutes. Flashback to the second movie, Mikiya is about to get killed by SHIKI but Soren Araya intervenes. SHIKI responds to this attacking Soren but only wounding him with a head cut. Araya says who really she was and the punishment she had done to him is to meet at the spiral of conflict (Fujino, Fujo, Shirazumi). SHIKI teriffied ran away and Mikiya follows. Mikiya caught her and makes a brief talk. SHIKI said something and again runs into the road to commit suicide by an incoming car. Mikiya runs to save her but is too late. Present time...the per­petrator, Lio Shirazumi, finds Shiki first but loses an arm in the resulting scuffle; retreating, he dis­covers Mikiya in his apartment which has become a madman’s shrine to Shiki. Shiki finds Lio's hideout and Lio was waiting for her. Shiki and Lio battled with knives until Shiki got the upper hand. Shiki is about to kill Lio when suddenly her memories came back due to Kurogiri's magic. Due to that pause, she was captured and tortured by Lio, still struggling with murderous urges, her salvation relies on Mikiya who may fall to Lio’s uncontrollable cravings. Shiki remembers what SHIKI said at the second film. SHIKI's reason for committing suicide was to protect SHIKI's and Shiki's of having a normal life with Mikiya. Also Shiki remembers her grandfather's last words to her that she could kill at least once in order to die as a human. In contrast, his grandfather killed so many people and killing him or himself makes him inhuman so he meet his end in a dark void. Mikiya comes to the scene however cannot go in the building because the front door was locked. He decides to get through by breaking one of the windows. He got in but was ambushed and clubbed by Lio. Lio begins to torture Mikiya by crushing his left leg and talks with Mikiya. He told Mikiya that Araya bestows to him the abandoned building filled with marijuana plants. He poisons Mikiya by him forcing to swallow a lethal dose of an illegal drug, that gives Mikiya a slow death. He gives Mikiya a chance to live by giving him a Bloodchip, a drug that would cause him to lose sanity after a few doses. Mikiya refuses Lio twice and he told him that he himself enjoyed being normal while he was weirdo for he was not fit being a serial manic. In other words, he was a complete opposite of Shiki. In a fit of anger, Lio slices through his left eye and Mikiya faints out. Lio leaves Mikiya dying and resumes torturing Shiki. Unfortunately, Shiki was able to get herself out by cutting her left thumb and begin to leave Lio. But Lio announces that Mikiya is right here. Realizing Mikiya died, Shiki turns back and decides to have a showdown against Lio. While being attacked and injured, Shiki thinks about Mikiya and her dreamy days with him. Then, she snaps back and uses her 'Mystic Eyes of Death Perception' skill, cutting Lio into pieces. Meanwhile, Mikiya survives and crawls until finds Shiki lying on the floor. Shiki was guilty of her sin and felt she would lose everything. Mikiya answered that he does not care and he said "I'll bear your sins in my place." (lines from movie3). He through himself from the day first Shiki smiled (movie 3) he will be always on her side forever. He ironically said the committed sin was wrong but it can't be prevented and he would not forgive her with no excuse. Then he picked up wounded Shiki in his arms and gave her a hug and said "Shiki, I won't let you go." Shiki cries joyfully and Mikiya hugs tight.

The movie starts off with an introduction from Kokuto Azaka on who she is and how she plans to win Mikiya over as her lover despite the presence of a dangerous woman named Ryogi Shiki. Afterwards, Shiki is sent to Azaka's school, the Reien Academy during winter break in order to help investigate a series of reports of fairies stealing the student's memories, and a suspicious suicide. The two immediately clash as Azaka is in love with her brother (Mikiya) and considers Shiki a love rival. While walking around the school, Shiki notices a fairy, and chases after it. Azaka who cannot see the fairies, is left alone and is attacked by an unknown person and has her memory stolen, only waking up in the evening with no memory of what has occurred. They discover the magus using the fairies is trying to erase everyone's memories of the event, but the school has a written record of the investigation. Azaka goes alone to check out the suicide site in the old building, as Shiki does not want to wake up this early. While there, Oji finds her and requests that Azaka pray with her in the chapel, after praying, she reveal she is the one using the fairies to erase everyone's memories, and tries to erase Azaka's memory, and that she killed Hideo Hayama (the teacher who went missing) and used his body to create the fairies (as you need a corpse of some kind to create a familiar). Azaka is knocked unconscious from behind by one of the fairies, but she retains her memory and is found by Satsuki Kurogiri, the teacher replacing Hideo Hayama.

During one night, Mikiya finds a confused Fujino crouched in an alley and noticing she is suffering from pain in her abdomen. Mikiya accompanies her to his apartment where she falls asleep. In the next morning, Mikiya notices Fujino is gone and at the same time, the news report a murder scene in an abandoned underground bar where the victims' corpses were found with their limbs torn off.

Time passes, and Mikiya graduates from high school and then meets Toko Aozaki in a doll exhibition, who then hires him.
