Yeong-ju is a girl with cute looks, an innocent smile, and a brilliant talker. She is also in prison for fraud. She easily convinces the evaluation board to grant her parole in time to attend her older sister's wedding. As soon as she's released, she boards a train for Busan with the wooden ducks she'd handcrafted as her wedding gift. On the train, she sits across village pharmacist Hee-cheol, who is on his way to propose to his girlfriend with his deceased mother's family heirloom ring. Yeong-ju witnesses a pickpocket stealing the ring from Hee-cheol, and afraid of becoming the suspect and violating her parole, she steals the ring back for Hee-cheol. But in the process, she is unable to board the train on time, missing it and leaving her wedding gift bag on the train.
University student Seo In-ha meets a young woman on the subway and instantly falls in love. After joining a local book club, he is pleasantly surprised to find that the woman, Mun Hie-jae, is also a member. Although he makes a poor first impression, In-ha and Hie-jae eventually become friends, though he is left disappointed when she later rejects him, as she is more interested in another student, Kang Seong-ho.
After accidentally causing the death of his partner during a hostage situation, Wu Young-min quits the police force to work for his uncle as head security of Dreampia, an immense shopping center. Dreampia is currently in the rebuilding stages as a fire destroyed parts of it five years ago. The re-opening was scheduled in a few days, until some strange murders begin to occur in the building. It seems that the victims, all employees of the mall, have committed suicide in very gruesome and unconventional ways.

When he goes to a hair salon to have his long hair cut, a charming woman calls him by name. She is none other than Hee-jin, his classmate in junior high school. Dreaming of becoming a hair designer, Hee-jin is a senior hair designer at the salon despite her young age. They are both drawn to each other, Ji-suk to Hee-jin's beauty, and Hee-jin to Ji-suk's purity. Their paths cross by chance a few more times and the two grow closer. Finally, Hee-jin suggests a 'one month romance.' "Neither one of us can say 'Let's break up' before the month is up! After a month, we part ways grandly! What do you think? Fun, huh?" Ji-suk is caught off guard. Seeing this, Hee-jin smiles at him sweetly.

Instead of preparing lesson plans, he goes drinking at room salons, and he actively encourages and coaxes parents to give him bribe money in exchange for his favoring their children. But one day, he finally gets caught in the act, and becomes the target of parent complaints.

To seal off the Auta tribe's force of sorcery, he drives his Holy Sword deep into the Sacred Tree.
Yun Jin-sung (Song Ji-hyo) and Kim So-hee's life (Park Han-byul) are best friends studying ballet at an all-girls art school, the latter usually showing a lot of affection towards the former. However, their friendship soon turns sour when they find themselves competing for a single spot in a Russian ballet school. At an art exhibit within the school, Jin-sung learns from an odd, near obese student named Eom Hye-ju (Jo An), of an old legend that if a person climbs the twenty eight steps leading up to the school's dormitory, counting each step aloud, and finds a twenty ninth, then a fox spirit will appear, and grant that person's wish. Curious, Jin-sung does climb the stairs and comes across the twenty ninth, happily wishing to gain the spot. To her surprise and anger later on, So-hee is selected instead. When So-hee confronts her on this, Jin-sung declares her hatred towards her best friend and accidentally sends the former down a flight of stairs during a scuffle. So-hee is left unconsciousness and hospitalized.
Veteran detective Oh Young-dal and his younger, loose-cannon partner Bang Jae-su are investigating the serial rape-murders of young women in Seoul. They begin to close in on gang leader Kim Min-ki, a psychopath who carries a metal ball and chain.
Park Mun-su (Jang Hyuk) and Na Young-ju (Lee Na-young) are classmates in a private English class. Mun-su frequently chases women while working in his shoe shop. However, Young-ju has an unreciprocated interest in him. They eventually become friends, and frequently sit together in class.
It begins with the Korean artist being suspicious of a Japanese art-lover who values his work. The story then goes back to his man's early years. Beginning as a vagabond with a talent for drawing, he has a talent for imitating other people's art, but is urged to go on and develop a style of his own. This process is painful and he often behaves very badly, getting drunk and being hostile to those who care about him and try to help him.
A loser, Bong-gu (Kim Seung-woo), attends a high school reunion, where he is ridiculed for his lack of accomplishments. The next day he goes to the country for army reserve training, where he encounters further humiliation and failure. With his last few won he purchases a cheap cigarette lighter. With no other way home, he shares a taxi to Seoul train station with a fellow reservist and malcontent named Bum-soo (Kang Sung-jin).
