Teamwork Motion Pictures Ltd. (Traditional Chinese: 天幕製作有限公司) is a former Hong Kong film production company. The company was established by Cantopop star, actor and film producer Andy Lau, serving as a producer for film in which Lau appeared as an actor. Following an intense lawsuit in 2002 with producing partner Clement Mak, Lau renamed the company to Focus Group Holdings Limited.

Namson Lau (Andy Lau) est professeur de danse de salon. Kam (Sandra Ng) a un vie médiocre et un travail ennuyeux, mais est de nature optimiste. Un jour, lors d'un bal organisé par l'aristocrate Tina Cheung (Anita Mui), Namson exécute une danse avec Tina devant Kam qui fait partie du public. Enchantée par la prestation de danse de Namson, elle décide de s'inscrire à ses cours, dans l'espoir de réaliser son rêve de danser aussi bien avec lui un jour. Pendant ce temps, Jimmy (Edison Chen), le frère cadet de Tina, confie également à Namson la tâche d'initier sa sœur au tango. Kam travaille dur à temps partiel pour payer ses cours de danse, tandis que Namson travaille à la réalisation de son rêve d'acheter son studio de danse dans Central et de participer au Festival de danse de Blackpool en Angleterre. De ce fait, il néglige les progrès de ses élèves et ne se soucie plus que de gagner de l’argent avec eux, comme à l’époque où il avait rencontré Tina au bal et où son but avait été de la persuader de prendre des leçons de danse avec lui.

He also loves motorcycles, but he gets in to a traffic accident which damages a business of the company he works for and Wah is fired as a result. Lam-lam (Rosamund Kwan) is old-fashioned and conservative. She wants to get married with his boyfriend Michael (Michael Tao), but she overreacts and gets violent when she gets intimate with a man. Because of this, Michael broke up with her. One day, Wah met Lam-lam at a reception of her company. Having lost her love, Lam-lam was determined to make a breakthrough. Using alcohol to boost her courage, Lam-lam uses her tipsiness to seduce Wah. Wah sees his love fortune coming and the two of them hook up creating a seemingly imaginary and real bewildered night.

Fei is a simple fisherman, who still possesses great sword-fighting prowess. The hero Ching-yan has been dreaming of a beautiful woman every night for 28 years and he vows to find his dream girl. He travels to the Snowy Mountain in search of her together with his godson and a mad doctor. Business in the Last-Stop-in-Life Hotel at the base of the mountain has been good, as many people have ventured to the mountain in search of the legendary Ice Maiden, but none have returned. The innkeeper develops a crush on Ching-Yan and pretends to be the Ice Maiden to entice him, but Ching-Yan does not believe her and insists on going up the mountain to look for the real Ice Maiden. On the way, he angers the Devil King and is rescued by the Ice Maiden. In doing so, the Ice Maiden ages 200 years overnight, but Ching-Yan still wants to marry her even though the Devil King does not allow them to leave. Eventually, the innkeeper sacrifices herself for Ching-Yan, allowing Ching-Yan to engage the Devil King in one final battle. Ching-Yan emerges victorious and is finally together with his dream lover.

Ching, May-kwan and Siu-chuen are famous mercenaries who capture wanted criminals for a living. However, they are involved in a love triangle, as Siu-chuen is in love with May-kwan, but May-kwan is in love with Ching and has been expressing her feelings for him all the time. May-kwan killed the Silver Fox's friend earlier and the Fox seeks vengeance on her. When Ching finally decides to propose marriage to May-kwan, Siu-chuen is killed by the Fox while trying to save May-kwan. May-kwan leaves Ching secretly to keep him out of trouble, but Ching constantly seeks her. One year later, Ching finally finds May-kwan, but learns that she has been poisoned by a spell. Ching and May-kwan join forces to defeat Silver Fox and the villains and they roam the world together as a couple.
