80 Blocks from Tiffany's is a 1979 documentary directed by Gary Weis. It depicted the daily life of gangs within the context of the South Bronx. It dealt primary with two African American and Puerto Rican gangs known as the "Savage Skulls" and the "Savage Nomads".

The South Bronx was known for its severe social decay during the 1970s and this idea was emphasised throughout the documentary. The documentary also illustrated many social issues such as high unemployment, prostitution and drug and alcohol abuse. The name of the documentary refers to the distance between Tiffany's jewelry store, in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, and the South Bronx.

80 Blocks from Tiffany's was released by Pacific Arts Entertainment for Home Video on VHS in 1985.

Cocaine Cowboys chronicles the development of the illegal drug trade in Miami during the 1970s and 1980s with interviews of both law enforcement and organized crime leaders, in addition to news footage from the era. The film reveals that in the 1960s and early 1970s, marijuana was the primary import drug into the region. During the 1970s, marijuana imports were replaced by the much more lucrative cocaine imports; as more cocaine was smuggled into the United States, the price dropped, allowing it to turn "blue collar," and be available to a wider market. The film focuses on an evidentiary hearing held in Marion County, Florida in February of 2001 which was the site of some but not all of Wuornos' murders for which she was convicted and sentenced to death. It shows the work of the Office of Capital Collateral Regional counsel, led by attorney Joseph T. Hobson who is both interviewed and featured in the film and who seeks to vacate Wuornos' death sentences. It shows Judge Victor Musleh presiding over these proceedings and assistant state attorney, now judge, James McCune who defended the death sentences for the State of Florida. Hobson is shown vigorously cross-examining Wuornos' trial counsel, Steven Glazer, aka "Dr. Legal". Glazer was the unflattering subject of a prior Broomfield documentary on Aileen Wuornos, somewhat the "prequel" to this work, called Aileen Wuornos: The Selling of a Serial Killer. It was Hobson's line of attack that the efficacy of his client's (Wuornos') trial strategy was compromised by Glazer's pecuniary and self-promotional aims.
