The film is a black comedy that follows Mark (also Mark Doherty) and Pierce (Dylan Moran), an unsuccessful actor and a failing writer respectively, who find themselves trying to cope after a string of accidents surrounds them in corpses. The film generally received a positive response, and was released on DVD in October 2011.

Synopsis
Mark (Doherty) is an actor living in a basement flat below his writer friend Pierce (Moran). Residing with his girlfriend, Sally (Huberman), Mark struggles to find work whilst caring for his paralysed brother, David (O'Doherty). Desperate to avoid paying overdue rent, Mark continually eludes landlord Jack (Allen), meaning he is also unable to inform Jack of the flat's dilapidated state.Actors

Michael McCrea (Cillian Murphy), is a perpetual waster, and is passed out some time in the mid-afternoon. He awakes to find two thugs, Ivan (Michael McElhatton) and Orlando (Don Wycherley), staring at him. They remind him that he owes money to Darren Perrier (Brendan Gleeson), a local crime boss. The debt must be paid that night, or Ivan and Orlando will break two of Michael's bones of his own choice. After they depart, Michael heads down stairs and sees Brenda (Jodie Whittaker), a friend of his, carrying a bouquet of flowers. She informs Michael that her boyfriend, Shamie (Pádraic Delaney), with whom she has a rocky relationship, has given her the flowers by way of apologising for his absenteeism. Michael is uninterested, and leaves the building in pursuit of a loan in order to pay off his current debt.

The film follows the fortunes of washed-up punk rocker Johnny Jones (Phil Daniels) and his attempts to make a comeback into the British music charts. After a drunken session with his old bandmates, Johnny records what he feels could be a hit. However, faced with record company executives who no longer see him or his music as relevant, he hires a group of fresh-faced youngsters to film a video in which they mime to his music. The result is a record contract and a single racing up the charts. All goes well until the real band decide they want more recognition for their work. Due to a conflict between Minto, played by Keith Allen and Johnny Jones, it is not long before the truth is exposed. Suddenly, the media focus is back on Johnny and his fight for equality in the music business. This leads to a comedic finale and a heartwarming ending.

When Commander Jackson (Robbie Coltrane), head of DI5, hears that his daughter Janie has been kidnapped and held for ransom, he has to call in ex-agents Bonehead (Keith Allen) and Foyle (Peter Richardson) to save her. Stuart (Robert Englund) is a film purist who despises the current film world, viewing it as vulgar and cheap.
