Sharon Horgan (born 13 July 1970) is an Irish actress, writer, director and producer. She is best known for the comedy series Pulling and Catastrophe, both of which she starred in and co-wrote. Pulling was nominated for two British Academy Television Awards, and won two British Comedy Awards.
Horgan's younger brother Shane Horgan is a former international rugby player who played wing or centre for Leinster and Ireland, and is now a rugby analyst for RTE Sports. Her other younger brother, Mark Horgan, is a producer for Second Captains, a multi-platform media production company.

Biography
As of 2015, Horgan lives in Victoria Park Hackney, London, with her husband Jeremy Rainbird and their two daughters Sadhbh (pronounced Syve) and Amer. Horgan and Rainbird married on 16 October 2005 at Chelsea Register Office in London. He is a former advertising executive and an entrepreneur who now co-owns The Warbird Company, a property development company.Horgan's younger brother Shane Horgan is a former international rugby player who played wing or centre for Leinster and Ireland, and is now a rugby analyst for RTE Sports. The Clock family (tiny human-like "Borrowers") live under the floorboards at the Driver–Hellman house, suspected but so far uncaught by Mrs Driver (Victoria Wood), grandmother of young James Hellman (Charlie Hiscock). Daughter Arrietty Clock (Aisling Loftus) is seen by James and they become friends, but his grandmother's suspicions are heightened. Lifting a floorboard, she finds missing items, including furniture from James' dead mother's dollhouse. Searching online for information on "little people", Mrs Driver befriends a London university Professor Mildeye (Stephen Fry) online. Unlike his skeptical colleagues, she asks more about his specialty, Homo sapiens redactus. In May 1944, 5 years since the declaration of World War II, three Royal Homing Pigeon Service war pigeons are flying across the English Channel with the White Cliffs of Dover in sight, carrying vital messages to Great Britain. Despite the poor weather conditions the pigeons have nearly reached their destination. They are, however, suddenly ambushed and attacked by a German enemy peregrine falcon named General Von Talon; two of the pigeons are instantly killed, yet the third, Mercury, is taken as a prisoner of war.
