A Mile in His Shoes is a 2011 Canadian made-for-television sports drama film directed by William Dear and starring Luke Schroder and Dean Cain. It was based on the novel The Legend of Mickey Tussler by Frank Nappi, although the setting was changed from Wisconsin in 1948 in the novel to Ohio in 2002 in the film.
Synopsis
The film centers on Mickey Tussler (Luke Schroder), a 18-year-old from Indiana with Asperger syndrome, who joins the semi-professional baseball team the River Rats after being discovered by Arthur Murphy (Dean Cain).Actors

Successful, arrogant baseball superstar Tommy "Santa" Santorelli is knocked unconscious by a wild pitch, and wakes to all of his childhood friends, in the year 1976. When he attempts explanation to his mother, she calls the doctor, with whom he quarrels. Eventually, his mother sends him to play baseball with his friends. The next day, Tommy tells his story to team-mate Ryan, and later protects him from local bully E.J. Needman. After winning several games Tommy joins Needman's team; but ultimately returns to that of his friends, and wins the game for them. Upon return to his future, he learns that he has remained in communication with his old friends ever since this victory.

César Faz (Clifton Collins, Jr.), moves to Monterrey, Mexico after he is let go by the St. Louis Cardinals from his job as a clubhouse attendant. Teenager Josh Framm's mother, Jackie, has just married her veterinarian boyfriend, Patrick Sullivan. George Henderson (John Lithgow) is returning home with his family from a camping trip when they hit something with the family station wagon. George investigates, and discovers to his horror and awe, that they had hit a Sasquatch. Deciding to take the creature home, George does so, strapping it to the roof of the car. Meanwhile, a mysterious hunter has been tracking the creature and discovers the Hendersons' license plate, which fell off when they hit the creature. At home, curiosity gets the best of George, and he goes out to the garage to examine the creature. Much to his shock, the creature was not dead and has since disappeared. He hears noises from his kitchen and sees the creature, it has knocked over the fridge in its attempt to find food. After waking the whole house, the family realizes that the creature is friendly and kind. George has a change of heart, at first he wished to make money from the creature, but now decides to take him back to the wild. Naming the creature "Harry", George tries to lure him into the station wagon, but Harry believes that the Hendersons mean him harm and instead he disappears.
