Synopsis
Hunter (C. J. Thomason) is a young doctor that has found himself stuck in the cellar of a farmhouse while World War III and the resulting nuclear attack unfolds around them. He's accompanied by eight other people, none of whom know one another. Terrified and forced to defend themselves against other refugees looking to use the cellar as their own shelter, the group is frequently at odds with one another.Actors

In 1995, John Connor is ten years old and living in Los Angeles with foster parents. His mother Sarah Connor had been preparing him throughout his childhood for his future role as the leader of the Human Resistance against Skynet, but was arrested after attempting to bomb a computer factory and imprisoned at a mental hospital under the supervision of Dr. Silberman. Skynet sends a new Terminator, designated as T-1000, back in time to kill John. The T-1000 is an advanced prototype composed of a mimetic polyalloy that allows it to take on the shape and appearance of almost anything it touches, and transform parts of its anatomy into knives and other stabbing weapons. The T-1000 arrives under a freeway, kills a policeman and assumes his identity. Meanwhile, the future John Connor has sent back a reprogrammed T-800 (Model 101) Terminator to protect his younger self.

In the near future, the economy has collapsed and massive crime waves sweep the inner cities. The manufacturing industry has shrunk to the point where cars are a commodity and parts are fought over between salvage companies and roving gangs. In an attempt to control the crime-wave, a chain of drive-in theatres are turned into concentration camps for the undesirable and unemployed youth. The dirty, graffiti-laden drive-ins are surrounded by high fences, and the roads leading to them are Security Roads ("S-Roads") that do not allow walking under any circumstances. Police collaborate with the owner to sabotage cars of unsuspecting visitors; however, some who know the true nature of the drive-ins come voluntarily for the shelter and food. Broken cars are continuously collected at these facilities. The prisoners are allowed easy access to a wide variety of drugs, alcohol, junk food, exploitation films, and new wave music. This, coupled with the awful conditions on the outside, engineers an atmosphere of complacency and hopelessness so the inmates will accept their fate and not attempt escape.

The film takes place in late 1999. India has an out-of-control nuclear satellite in orbit that is about to re-enter the atmosphere at any time, contaminating large areas of the Earth. This has caused a massive panic, with everyone trying to flee the likely impact sites. Caught in a traffic jam, impatient and disconnected Claire Tourneur (Solveig Dommartin) escapes the highway congestion by taking a side road. Her dashboard computer system announces she has left the map zone database and is on her own. She then has a couple of odd encounters, first with a pair of bank robbers (which leaves her with a large amount of cash), then with a hitchhiker being pursued by an armed party. Claire discovers, after falling in love with the enigmatic fugitive, that he is the son of a scientist (played by Max von Sydow), and has absconded with the prototype of a secret research project. Multiple government agencies and freelance bounty hunters are chasing him to recover the device.

In a post-drought apocalypse US, people kill for water. Ernest Holm lives with his son Jerome and daughter Mary in their small townhouse and field. His wife has been involved in an accident earlier and is now permanently hospitalized in a facility where she can walk while wired to a special frame. While everyone else has left the area, Ernest and his family remain, as Ernest believes that the land will grow once more if only there is irrigation. Ernest gets water for his family by delivering supplies to the "water men" who extract water from deep wells through a government deal. When his mule breaks its legs and he has to kill it, Ernest goes to Sam Lever's auction house and buys a robotic carrier machine called Simulit Shadow ("Sim") to replace it, beating the offers of Flem Lever, Sam's son, a young, troubled man who has been seeing Mary without Ernest's consent.

Office worker Marc scavenges for food in a downtown Barcelona building that has been ravaged by a catastrophic event. Directed to the basement to help dig a tunnel, he almost causes its collapse as he panics over the fate of his girlfriend Julia, who was staying at his apartment at the time of the catastrophe. When they break through to a neighboring building, he meets Enrique, who tells Marc that they can talk later. In 2014, an attempt to counteract global warming through climate engineering results in an ice age that extinguishes all life except the inhabitants of the Snowpiercer, a massive train powered by a perpetual motion engine that travels a globe-spanning track, created by the transportation magnate Wilford. Tom (Grant Bowler) and Tori (Evalena Marie) are employees at the fictional Silver Star Casino in Reno. On a slow day at the tables, Tom convinces Tori to join him in a stock room for a sexual encounter. At the same time a news report is airing about "Peace Day", a day when the entire world's supply of nuclear weapons is set to be destroyed. Something goes wrong during the event and a nuclear blast occurs, knocking out power to the casino and trapping Tom and Tori behind an electronic lock. When the power is restored they find the casino trashed and people gone, except for an old lady in a power chair who attacks Tori. After dispatching the old lady with a chair leg, they encounter magician's assistant Jensen (Miko Hughes). He tells them that he turned the power back on and that he isn't sure what happened. Tom and Jensen go up front to check the casino security cameras while Tori goes to the front door to look outside. Tom and Jensen see Victor (Anthony Marks) outside throwing a man to the zombies to save himself. Victor bolts into the casino and demands to be let in. Jensen lets him in and takes him to a bathroom to clean up while Tom and Tori decide to start trapping the other zombies in the casino.

Deux ans après avoir affronté les humains et Koba, César et les singes vivent reculés dans une forêt. Leur avant-poste est alors attaqué par une unité militaire pratiquement annihilée dans l'assaut et qui subit une défaite totale, rapportée par radio à leur commandant le colonel McCullough. Selon les dires d'un survivant fait prisonnier et présenté à César, cet homme sanguinaire cherche à tout prix à retrouver César pour installer la domination des hommes sur les primates : bien que ça ne fasse pas l'unanimité, César choisit d'épargner les soldats survivants et de les lui renvoyer avec un message de laisser tomber afin de clarifier les circonstances ayant amené cette situation et prévenir une montée vaine des conflits. Plus tard alors qu'ils s'occupent de leurs morts et blessés, César vient accueillir son fils aîné Yeux-Bleus et Rocket, qui reviennent d'une expédition prolongée et ont apparemment enfin trouvé la terre promise des singes, à des mois de marche de là. Le soir même, après des discussions houleuses sur la suite des événements et la crainte exprimée par Winter, un gorille albinos, la décision est prise de s'y rendre. Mais après l'échec de ses soldats, le colonel McCullough se déplace en personne avec un commando dans le refuge de César afin de le tuer. Il tue le fils aîné de César par méprise ainsi que sa compagne, Cornelia, épargnant sans le savoir leur enfant cadet, Cornelius qui s'était caché. César qui arrive juste avant son départ et constate leur mort, tente de se venger pour son acte mais échoue de peu. Tandis que la colonie a débuté son trajet vers leur futur foyer, César confie alors Cornelius à Lake, la compagne de feu son fils aîné, puis quitte les siens à leur grande surprise pour se lancer seul à la poursuite de McCullough, assoiffé de vengeance. Il est toutefois vite rattrapé et épaulé par ses plus proches amis l’orang-outan Maurice, le chimpanzé Rocket (dont le fils Ash, meilleur ami de Yeux-Bleus, fut également tué, par Koba en son temps) et le gorille Luca.
