Synopsis

Employés dans la cafétaria d'une station service, Zehra et Olgun ont des envies d'ailleurs. Issus d'une famille modeste, ils sont tiraillés entre leurs rêves et leurs obligations familiales. Zehra pense échapper à son destin grâce à un homme providentiel. Elle tombe sous le charme de Mahur, un des routiers, qui déjeunent à la station-service, et se persuade qu'il l'aime. De son côté, Olgun veut échapper à un foyer familial pesant en participant à un jeu télévisé, «Deal or no Deal», qu'il espère remporter dans l'espoir de séduire Zehra...

And the character Ayshe would not have had to keep her ethnic identity a secret for 50 years if she had lived in a tolerant environment.

Peter Huber (Peter Kern), the proprietor of a Bavarian corner newsstand, wins a free trip to New York City in a magazine contest, he is overjoyed.
