Chiru acted as a villain in this Sobhan-Sridevi starrer under the direction of KRR for the first time in his career. Sobhan babu and sridevi, who are in love with each other plan to marry soon. Chiru is a local rowdysheeter in their area who has a relationship with sridevi’s twin sister(dual role). Sridevi tries to keep herself away from his twin sister’s life style and sobhan decides to give her new life by marrying her. But, chiru has his eyes on sridevi also,but gets bashed up by sobhan few times. He develops personal grudge against them.Oneday, when sobhan and sridevi are about to get married in a temple,chiru spots her alone waiting for sobhan and he rapes her. Unable to bear this humiliation, she commits suicide and before she dies, sobhan reaches there and he vows to take revenge. Venkateswarlu (Venkatesh) arrive at the town and gets appointed as a Telugu lecturer in the junior college where he completed his education. He is fooled by the students headed by a brilliant but mischievous student Roja (Aparna). Venteswarulu is irritated by her indiscipline and finds fault for whatever she does. But this does not stop Roja to crack pranks on him. Thukaram (Brahmanandam) classmate of Venkateswarlu who is still studying as a student for so long years and some other students create a fake love letter on the name of Roja and keeps it in Venkateswarlu's desk. Venkateswarlu misunderstands that, it is also one of the pranks of Roja and warns her and gives the letter to her. But Roja considers that he wrote the love letter and falls in love with him. Roja's classmates repeat the mischief again and again and Venkateswarlu misunderstands it as Roja's mischief and complaints to Principal (Kota Srinivasa Rao) because of which Roja is suspended without any chance to defend herself.

Raju (Chiranjeevi) is a do-gooder who helps his co-workers in a Visakhapatnam shipyard, but when his mother suffers a paralytic stroke, he moves back to Hyderabad and looks for a job. To get their revenge, they send goons to kill Uma Devi. As fate would have it, Bapineedu shows up in the car instead of Uma Devi and is rescued by Raju who asks him for a job which Bapineedu readily agrees to.
