Awesome; I Fuckin' Shot That! (alternate title: Awesome; I... Shot That!) is a 2006 concert film of the Beastie Boys. It was created by giving camcorders to 50 audience members of a sold out concert at Madison Square Garden on October 9, 2004. The audience members were instructed to keep the cameras rolling at all times. For a low budget operation, all cameras were returned to the place of purchase for a refund.

The film first screened on January 6, 2006 to the fans that shot the footage. Also that same month it was shown at the Sundance Film Festival. There was a one-night screening across the country on March 23, and the film was then given a general release on March 31, 2006.

The DVD of this concert movie was released on July 24, 2006 in the UK and July 25, 2006 in the US.

During a promotional performance on the Late Show with David Letterman, members of the audience were given camcorders to film the televised performance in a similar fashion to that of the film.

The film also screened at South by Southwest, Wisconsin Film Festival, Dead Center Film Festival, Copenhagen Film Festival and Era New Horizons Film Festival in Poland.

Cameo appearances during the show on and near the stage include Doug E. Fresh, formerly of Doug E. Fresh and the Get Fresh Crew, and DMC, of the rap group Run DMC.

Ben Stiller and his wife Christine Taylor can be seen in the film as members of the audience. They are also interviewed on film at the show's end. Donald Glover can also be seen as an audience member. David Cross plays Nathanial Hörnblower.

Awesome ! I fuckin' shot that ! est le premier long métrage de la célèbre formation de hip-hop : les Beastie Boys. Un film de fans pour les fans, pour lequel les membres du groupe ont confié des caméras Hi8 à une cinquantaine de spectateurs lors de leur concert du Madison Square Garden à New York le 9 octobre 2004.

Sound City Studios was located in the San Fernando Valley, amidst rows of dilapidated warehouses. The little-known recording studio housed a unique analog Neve recording console and a reputation for recording drums. Artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Rick Springfield, Tom Petty, Kyuss, Slipknot and Nirvana recorded groundbreaking music at the studio. The film tells the story of the studio from its early days in 1969 until its closing in 2011. It then follows Dave Grohl's purchase of the studio's custom analog Neve console, which he moved to his personal studio, Studio 606. Rupert Neve is an English engineer who founded Neve Electronics in 1961, designed and manufactured the Neve 8028, "one of four in the world", and is interviewed by Grohl in the film. Famous musicians who recorded at Sound City reunite at Studio 606 for a jam session and to make an album of "all-new all-original songs, each one composed and recorded exclusively for the film within its own 24-hour session on that console." It also shows album covers by some bands: Red Hot Chili Peppers's One Hot Minute, Nirvana's Incesticide and Nevermind, Rage Against The Machine's self-titled album and many others.

The film centers around the Sex Pistols 1978 tour of the United States which ended with the group breaking up. The tour was the only one the group played in the U.S. Film director Lech Kowalski followed them with handheld cameras through the clubs and bars of their seven-city Southern tour.
