Synopsis
Colonel James Braddock (Chuck Norris), Vietnam veteran, had believed his Asian wife Lin Tan Cang (Miki Kim) to be dead since the war ended in 1975, but he hears from a missionary, Reverend Polanski (Yehuda Efroni), that Lin is not only alive, but has a 12-year-old son named Van Tan Cang (Roland Harrah III), who is Braddock's son.Actors

The movie begins with Lt. Jeffrey Knight, a new officer from West Point, being airlifted to an outpost in Vietnam. When he arrives, he meets his platoon, a group of tough witted veterans of the war. Platoon Sergeant McNamara explains to Knight that the platoon does not need a leader that follows rules. Lt. Knight's actions are also frowned upon by all of his men except for Pvt. Parker, the radio officer.

Colonel James Braddock is an American officer who spent seven years in a North Vietnamese POW camp, then escaped 10 years ago. Ten years before freeing American POWs from a brutal General, Colonel James Braddock (Chuck Norris) was held in a North Vietnamese POW camp run by sadistic Colonel Yin (Soon-Teck Oh), who forces the POWs to grow opium for a French drug runner named François (Pierre Issot), and tries to get Braddock to admit to and sign a long list of war crimes. During his team's time in captivity, they are relentlessly subjected to various forms of humiliating torture, and Braddock being told that his wife has left him and has remarried. One of Braddock's comrades starts to suffer with malaria, and is injected with what they are told to be antibiotics. They later find out that he was in fact injected with a lethal dose of opium instead. Braddock must escape and rescue his fellow prisoners from Yin.

During World War II, American deserter Learoyd escapes a Japanese firing squad. Ranger Captain Walker and Rangers Francis Gage and Rhett Harper are involved in a shooting at a bank where a group of robbers hijack the operators. Ranger Harper kills two of the robbers while the leader is able to escape. A form of guidance missile accidentally ends up in the hands of a thirteen-year-old who does not know that three Koreans, who are very skilled in combat, is what they're looking for. The criminals go to the kid's house where they kill his father. The boy manages to escape, but the criminals remit to look for work. Jimmy has to leave for a family vacation and away from the group, while Gage is following the case of the boy, helped by the Ranger Kay Austin. As if that were not enough a girl with whom he had an appointment Ranger Harper is killed and all evidence leads to Ranger Harper.
