Lorsqu'elle rejette sa proposition, René se suicide, renforçant la réputation de Venise en tant que renarde déchirante. De retour à la maison, Venise est suivie de plus de commérages, dont certains sur Guy. Un Donnie ébloui recommence à la poursuivre, gagnant finalement Venise sans jamais connaître sa ruse.
