Synopsis
Some time after the events of the first movie film maker Worthy Milligan decides to shoot a film based upon the murders and hires Tricia, the traumatized sole survivor of the massacre, as a technical advisor. However, once Tricia, Milligan and the rest of the cast and crew trek into the woods, the nightmare becomes all too real as the clown reappears and begins to butcher the hapless crew members.Actors

Tarver (Steve Railsback) is a crew member on board Pandora, a freight transport carrier headed toward Earth with a desperately needed new energy supply, a strange substance called "Thanatos". Pandora 's captain, Darian Holoway (Alexis Zibolis) was recently promoted after the death of former captain Rubini (David P. Johnson). Some of the crew are suspicious of the Thanatos. Approaching Earth, the ship diverts to respond to a distress call from the spacecraft Diana. The Diana appears abandoned until the discovery of four nurses from the Diana 's medical facility who claim to have survived a pirate attack. The nurses are actually the pirates and they attempt a takeover of the Pandora. During the struggles, the Thanatos container is ruptured and fluid spills onto one of the pirates. She mutates and becomes a "plaguer". One by one, the pirates and the Pandora crew become infected, as the Thanatos becomes strong enough to take control of the ship and head it straight toward Earth.

Richard Grindle (Ross Noble), a clown with the stage name "Stitches", makes out with a woman in his van. During sex, the woman notices an egg with a face painted on it encased in a glass tube. Stitches explains that "they" made him do it when he signed up. Stitches arrives late at Tom's (Ryan Burke) birthday, and attempts to entertain the children, but they instead ridicule him. Vinny (Gerald Ahern) ties Stitches' shoelaces together, causing him to trip and land on a kitchen knife. Stitches stands up and attempts to attack the children, but instead he slips on his own blood and the knife flies above him. Stitches falls onto the floor as the knife falls onto his eye, killing him. Tom visits Stitches' grave and finds a group of clowns performing a ritual, and the group's leader, The Motley, threatens Tom.

The film picks up immediately after the end of the last film, with Marybeth Dunston (Danielle Harris) blowing off the head of Victor Crowley (Kane Hodder) with a shotgun. She walks away and comes across the bodies of Vernon and John, where she hears Crowley in the woods. Marybeth starts up the chainsaw, but is grabbed by Victor. Marybeth kicks him, and he falls backwards onto the chainsaw, cutting him down the middle. She grabs a shotgun from one of the men and shoots Victor's head, and walks back into the city. She walks into the Jefferson Parish Police Department, immediately having guns drawn on her. Upon discovery of the twenty to thirty bodies at Honey Island Swamp, she is placed as the prime suspect in the murders by Sheriff Fowler (Zach Galligan), even after telling him numerous times about the events of the last two films. The Sheriff heads out to the swamp with the paramedics and fire department, leaving Deputy Winslow (Robert Diago DoQui) in charge of the station until he gets back.
