Synopsis
Robert fails school while studying abroad in America, because he spent too much time flirting with American girls and not enough time studying. Robert's mother, angry that her son has failed school, sends him back to Hong Kong to live with his aunt in hopes that he will marry a Chinese girl.Actors

The film starts out with a thief stealing jewelry from a millionaire Chin Pai-wen (Tang Ching). The family believes it was done by the infamous Flower Kid, who steals from the rich and gives it to the poor. They then hire Sheriff Butcher Wing (Karl Maka) to find him. However, Chin's wife (Yau Poon-ling) suggests Skinny Gee (Dean Shek), a con man who catches crooks, instead. So Butcher Wing tries to get Skinny Gee by framing him for harassing his sister and offers him a deal if he finds the Flower Kid. Gee manages to Flower Kid. Gee then tells Wing a plan to arrest Flower Kid by setting him up. They fail and Wing arrests Gee for fooling him. Flower Kid then arrives, disguised as a woman, to rescue Gee out of jail. It was a set up by Flower Kid and Gee. Later it is revealed that he is not the real Flower Kid. He is a man named Fatso (Sammo Hung), who idolizes Flower Kid and pretends to be him.

Mo-pei Chai and Kwong-kwan Chat are two crooks who accidentally swindled Kam Yik-kung's counterfeit bank notes. Kam sends his killers, Iron Cow and Crazy Horse, to track them. The two crooks are saved by an orphan, Mak Ah-tau. Since then, the two men and the kid became good friends. After going through many dangerous situations, the two crooks decides to not wander anymore for the sake of Mak. At the same time, they also found out that Mak is Kam's biological son and they return him to Kam. When return Mak to Kam, not only does Kam not accept his son, he also plans to kill the trio.

Husker, is sent to the Shaolin Temple by the Iron Fisted Monk (Chen Sing), after he saves Sammo from a beating by the Manchu's. After being trained by his master (James Tien) he runs away from the temple, only to be confronted by his master and forced to take the four tests. Whilst this is happening, Fung Hark-On is indulging in his passion for raping women, and is virtually above the law as he is a powerful Manchu officer. He begins by raping Liang's (Chu Ching) sister, who then commits suicide and makes Liang a very angry man. Liang takes his revenge by killing one of those pesky Manchus but everyone thinks Sammo is responsible.

Dean Shek is flirty lawyer and expert at dealing with divorce cases who also likes to fool around with married women. One day, he attends the wedding of his friend Bluffer Wong and suddenly thinks about starting a family. In the postwar community, where the economy is falling and many businesses are bleak. A starving wanderer named the Chinese Charlie Chaplin (Dean Shek) meets an orphan (Wong Wai) who was used to do illegal things by bad guy Master Ting (Karl Maka) and the two become fast friends. Later Charlie also meets a poor singer (Wong Sau Man), whom he develops a funny romance with, and a drunkard (Wu Ma). Due to humiliation from Ting, the drunkard turned to drinking. Later, Ting abducts the kid and the singer, prompting Charlie and the drunkard to finally rise up with ambition and risk their lives to save the kid and the singer and eventually, Ting was unable to evade the law.
