Yu Mo-lin (Chinese: 余慕莲)(born Yu Zhi-li, Chinese: 余志雅)，and her nickname is YuMao(余毛). Her mother—Mei-Mei Den (邓美美) was an actress who was not widely known, and her younger sister—Zhi-Li Yu(余志丽) is a pupil of Cantonese Opera performer Jian-Hui Ren(任剑辉). In her early years, Yu worked as a saleswoman in a department store. She took part in the repertory theatre, and once featured in Taming of the Shrew . From 1979, she began to appear in TVB series. Often, she was assigned roles such a street cleaner, maid and often portrays unattractive woman. She is a character actress who has a talent in comical roles. Her roles and personality leave a deep impression with the audience and she does not seems to mind to be the symbol of 'ugly woman' on TV and movies in Hong Kong.Usually with

Chow Si-pak (Shing Fui-On), Dried Pork (Wong Jing), Lo Ka-ying (Lawrence Cheng and Yo (Sam Christopher Chan) are cousins who are unemployed. Money God was being naughty in heaven and as a punishment, he was sent to Earth to do good deeds for humans. On Earth, he meets Fung, a restaurant owner and his son Ben. Louis (Leslie Cheung) is a lovely young man from a rich family and misses his dead mother. He has a good friendship with his cousin Kathy (Pat Ha). Louis and Kathy later meet Tomato (Cecilia Yip), who becomes Louis' girlfriend, and Pong (Kent Tong), who becomes Kathy's boyfriend.
