Synopsis
At a Catholic school in 2050, a troublesome boy named Roger (Ben Savage) is running away after blowing up the gym due to not being allowed to play on the basketball team—he was accepted onto the team but his parents have forbidden contact sports. He is stopped by Father Clifford (Martin Short), an old priest, who tries to persuade him to change his ways by telling him a story of his own youth.Actors

L'histoire commence alors que l'équipage du Romano Fafard tourne une vidéo destinée aux terriens concernant leur sonde #5. Quelques jours auparavant, le capitaine Patenaude et Serge-18 consultent les résultats de la sonde. Pendant leur analyse des planètes, la sonde percute un chevreuil spatial, ce qui la fait s'écraser sur la planète «Crème hydratante pour le visage soulage la peau sèche». Une fois sur la planète, à la suite d'une fausse alerte de Flavien et un problème avec Brad, l'équipage se fait encercler par les «Crémeux». À la suite d'un tir de charge débilitante par Brad (qui fait répéter à un soldat « On vote Mario Dumont »), l'équipage est contraint de se donner une fausse identité et leur explique leur problème. Une fois le gouverneur suprême informé de la situation, les terriens sont, à cause de Bob, obligé de leur dire la vérité, ce que le gouverneur dit ne pas se soucier, à la joie de ces derniers. Alors que le gouverneur est sur le point de leur révéler l'emplacement de la sonde, un attentat éclate et ce dernier est blessé et conduit à bord du vaisseau. Avant l'évacuation de l'équipage, Bob reçoit un mot de la messagère, que Bob croit être un mouchoir, qu'il utilise et garde sur lui. Lors de l'opération du gouverneur, ce dernier parvient à articuler que la sonde est sur la planète des iraziens et que c'est la planète traversée par un anneau ("Le capitaine et Serge 18 ont sondé cette planète") . Le problème étant que le capitaine est très strict sur son éthique et ne veut pas attaquer une planète habitée, ce qui cause des conflits au sein de l'équipage, surtout avec Brad. Lors d'une nuit où le capitaine s'endort sur place (debout), Brad explique le fonctionnement des cartes du vaisseau et du canon au gouverneur. Cette nuit même, ce dernier parvient à tirer un missile vers les iraziens mais rate la cible, ce qui a été déjoué par Flavien. Alors que le gouverneur est en prison et que Brad est sur le point subir le même sort, Flavien informe l'équipage que le missile lancé était un «Génération X», ce qui signifie qu'il finit toujours par revenir vivre chez ses parents (il revient vers le vaisseau). Flavien tire donc un autre missile sur le premier. Le souffle de l'explosion propulse le vaisseau dans les limbes. À l'intérieur, des fantômes leur révèlent qu'il reste six mois de vie sur Terre, ce qui pousse le capitaine à laisser de côté ses principes et prendre de force la planète des iraziens.

During Christmas 1955, an 11-year-old Hellboy is told a bedtime story by his adoptive father, Trevor Broom, involving an ancient war between man and magical creatures, started by man's greed. After defeat of the magical creatures' forces, the master of the goblin blacksmiths offers to build an indestructible mechanical army for the elven King Balor. Encouraged by his son Prince Nuada, Balor orders the building of this Golden Army. The humans are devastated by the army. Balor is ridden with guilt and forms a truce with the humans: Man will keep his cities and the magical creatures will keep their forests. Nuada does not agree with the truce and leaves in exile. Nine-year-old Milo (Seth Green, voice-over by Seth Dusky) is just beginning summer vacation, and his father (Tom Everett Scott) is leaving for a business trip. While Milo is wanting his summer to be a fun one, his mother (Joan Cusack) assigns him chores and tasks like taking out the trash. At dinnertime, Milo is given broccoli. His mother has a "no broccoli, no TV" rule which Milo cleverly evades. When Milo feeds his broccoli to his cat, his mom grounds him and sends him to bed early. After a heated argument with his mother, Milo wishes that he never had a mom. In an unspecified future, Barbarella is assigned by the President of Earth to retrieve Doctor Durand Durand from the Tau Ceti region. Durand Durand is the inventor of the Positronic Ray, a weapon that Earth leaders fear will fall into the wrong hands. Barbarella crashes on the 16th planet of Tau Ceti and is soon knocked unconscious by two mysterious girls, who take Barbarella to the wreckage of a spaceship. Inside the wreckage, she is tied up and several children emerge from within the ship. They set out several dolls which have razor sharp teeth. As the dolls begin to bite her, Barbarella faints but is rescued by Mark Hand, the Catchman, who patrols the ice looking for errant children. While Hand takes her back to her ship, Barbarella offers to reward Mark and he suggests sex. She says that people on Earth no longer have penetrative intercourse but consume exaltation transference pills and press their palms together when their "psychocardiograms are in perfect harmony". Hand prefers the bed, and Barbarella agrees. Hand's vessel makes long loops around Barbarella's crashed vessel while the two have sex, and when it finally comes to a stop, Barbarella is blissfully humming. After Hand repairs her ship, Barbarella departs and promises to return, agreeing that doing things the old-fashioned way is occasionally best.

Tony Mareda, Jr., a former Olympic athlete turned world's greatest private detective, is driving across the country when he is attacked by mobsters. In Rivet Town, Herb Copperbottom, a dishwasher at Gunk's Greasy Spoon diner, races through the streets, elated that he is going to be a father. He and his wife, Lydia, after 12 hours of "labor", construct the baby. He is named Rodney, and he becomes a young inventor who dreams of making the world a better place. Rodney idolizes Bigweld, a master inventor and owner of Bigweld Industries. During Rodney's adolescence, he invents a gadget, "Wonderbot", intended to help his father clean the dishes at the restaurant. When Herb's supervisor unexpectedly confronts them, Wonderbot breaks dishes, causing Herb to be put in debt and Rodney to be dismissed. Rodney takes his invention to Robot City to see Bigweld and get a job as an inventor at Bigweld Industries, so that he can help his father pay back his supervisor. His father encourages him and confides that he has always regretted not pursuing his dream of becoming a musician. Rodney arrives in Robot City and meets Fender, a ramshackle robot who takes souvenir photos and sells maps to the stars' homes. After a spectacular but harrowing ride on the crosstown express, Rodney arrives at the gate of Bigweld Industries.
