Add to a movie listCreepshow 2 is a 1987 American live-action/animated horror comedy anthology film directed by Michael Gornick and the sequel to Creepshow. Gornick was George A. Romero's cinematographer on the original Creepshow. The screenplay was written by Romero, the director of the original film. It was once again based upon stories by Stephen King, featuring three more "Jolting Tales of Horror": Old Chief Wooden Head, The Raft, and The Hitchhiker.
Creepshow 2 was followed by an unofficial sequel in 2006—which had no involvement from Stephen King or George Romero—titled Creepshow III. Creepshow make-up artist and Creepshow 2 actor, Tom Savini, stated that he considers Tales from the Darkside: The Movie (1990) the real Creepshow 3.
The cover of the special edition DVD released by Anchor Bay Entertainment in both the United States and United Kingdom is an homage to the Tales from the Crypt comic books from EC. This film originally had five tales scripted, like the first Creepshow, but two stories, titled "Pinfall" and "Cat from Hell", were scrapped due to budgetary reasons. "Cat from Hell" was, however, filmed for Tales from the Darkside: The Movie.
Synopsis
A delivery truck pulls up to a newsstand in a small town where a young boy named Billy (named after and confused with the boy from Creepshow) arrives eagerly waiting for it. The truck's back shutter opens to reveal a sinister figure who drops off a package onto the sidewalk — the latest issue of Creepshow, much to Billy's delight. As the film momentarily turns into an animation, the package opens of its own accord, (revealing the cover of the comic is the same as the cover in the final scene of the previous film). As Billy begins to read, the delivery man reveals his true identity as the Creepshow Creep.Actors

The film begins with a meeting between wealthy heiress Linnet Ridgeway (Lois Chiles) and her close friend Jacqueline de Bellefort (Mia Farrow). Jacquie wants her fiancé, Simon Doyle (Simon MacCorkindale), to work for Linnet, but he and Linnet have a whirlwind affair and end up marrying. While honeymooning in Egypt, they are continually hounded by the jilted Jacquie. A young boy named Billy gets yelled at and slapped by his father, Stan, for reading a horror comic titled Creepshow. In a post-apocalyptic future, human survivors are fighting a group of mutant monsters they refer to as "Gargoyles". Two of these survivors Michael and John are out surveying the world after a chemical or biological attack which left a large portion of the population mutated or dead. The survivors are part of the Mojave Lab and have lost contact with their sister Rocky Mountain Lab. Over the radio Sue and David hear John and Michael fall under attack from the gargoyles while investigating a large group of buzzards. In order to find John and Michael, David and Linda go out of the bunker but find John and Michael dead. They also find a live girl named Karen who they bring back to their bunker. While under anesthesia Karen gives birth to a gargoyle which gets loose in the bunker. Hal develops a plan to kill the gargoyle in which Andre and Neil fall prey to the gargoyle. The gargoyle then proceeds to wound David and injure his dog Brutus while also kidnapping Sue with the intentions to reproducing with her. These creatures reproduce quickly by raping human women and impregnating them. The gestation period is short and deadly. The creatures are very strong and able to heal after some wounds such as burning, beating, and electrical shock. They are vulnerable to the high-pitched frequency of a dog whistle (used by a lead character to ward them off). Sue becomes impregnated by the gargoyle; she later kills herself via drug overdose. Linda and David then hatch a plan to kill the gargoyle by luring him into the ventilation system where he becomes trapped and falls into a running exhaust fan dismembering him. David and Linda re-establish radio contact with the Rocky Mountain Lab and along with Brutus leave the bunker with a high frequency megaphone to brave the outside world. They lie and wait for a number of gargoyles to enter the open bunker and implode it. Linda and David leave the bunker; it is implied that they are on their way to the Rocky Mountain Lab. Abortion becomes a topic of debate between the humans when one of the characters is raped by one of the creatures; they are unsure if the woman is pregnant by her human partner or the monster.

A scientific corporation of ill repute (Genetic Laboratories) loses control of its test subject—a poisonous, mutant cat (the Uninvited) that inhabits the body of an ostensibly benign house cat. The film begins with Kennedy's character talking to his daughter inside their cabin. Suddenly a Bigfoot-like animal breaks in and takes away the girl. Some teenage campers arrive and they too eventually meet the Bigfoot, with many of them being killed or captured. It is later discovered that one of the campers came there to find his uncle. His uncle is later found to be the Bigfoot, and that a bigoted Catholic priest used him for his own evil plans. Actually, the priest thinks an alien who arrived from an unknown planet 100 years ago is an angel who is here to be served by him. After unearthing such alien conspiracy and a horde of mindless zombies, the hidden spacecraft is destroyed inside the cave they used to hide it.
