Add to a movie listDark Figure of Crime (hangeul : 암수살인 ; RR : Amsu-salin ; littéralement, « Meurtres inconnus ») est un thriller dramatique sud-coréen co-écrit et réalisé par Kim Tae-gyun, sorti le 3 octobre 2018 an Corée du Sud. Il est vaguement basé sur le 869e épisode de l'émission de télévision Unanswered qui raconte une histoire vraie s'étant passée à Pusan, où des meurtres n'ont jamais été rapportés, des corps jamais retrouvés et des enquêtes n'ayant jamais eu lieu. Les familles des victimes ont essayé d'interdire la sortie du film en portant l'affaire devant les tribunaux car il représentait avec exactitude et sans leur consentement les faits et les meurtres de leurs proches. Elles retirent finalement leurs plaintes le 1er octobre 2018 après avoir reçu les excuses solennelles de l'équipe de production.
Il totalise plus de 3,7 millions d'entrées au box-office sud-coréen de 2018 pour 28,3 millions $ de recettes.
L'expression dark figure of crime (la « face obscure du crime ») est un terme utilisé en anglais pour désigner les crimes non signalés ou non découverts.

Eom Joong-ho is a dishonest ex-detective turned pimp who is in financial trouble because two of his girls have gone missing. One night he sends Mi-jin, one of his few remaining girls, to a customer. But he later realizes that this is the same person who was the last to see his missing girls. Believing that this man is reselling his women, he goes to look for Mi-jin. On the way he contacts his old police task force to ask for some help. But they cannot assist because the mayor of Seoul, whom they are guarding, has just been attacked with human feces during a walkabout.
