Delivery Man is a 2013 American comedy-drama film directed by Ken Scott, produced by DreamWorks Pictures, and starring Vince Vaughn, Chris Pratt, and Cobie Smulders. The film was released by Touchstone Pictures on November 22, 2013. It is a remake of Scott's 2011 French-Canadian film, Starbuck.
Synopsis
David Wozniak (Vince Vaughn) is a hapless deliveryman for his family's butcher shop, pursued by thugs to whom he owes $80,000. His girlfriend Emma (Cobie Smulders) is pregnant with his child. One day, David returns from work to find a lawyer representing a sperm bank (where he gave 693 donations and earned a sum of $24,255 during his student years) who tells him he had fathered 533 children. Of those, 142 have joined a class action lawsuit to force the fertility clinic to reveal the identity of "Starbuck", the alias he had used.Actors

Dan Trunkman (Vince Vaughn) is arguing with his boss Chuck Portnoy (Sienna Miller) of Dynamic Systems over Chuck giving Dan 5% less commission on a business deal. Dan calls Chuck out on her dealings and behavior, and then decides to leave and start his own business. Only two other people follow Dan - Tim McWinters (Tom Wilkinson), who claims he was just let go for being too old, and Mike Pancake (Dave Franco), a young man that just had an interview at Dynamic but is eager to join the other two. A year later, Dan's business, Apex Select, has barely gotten off the ground. He, Tim, and Mike are sitting in a Dunkin' Donuts when Dan gets a message to go on a business trip to Portland to meet with investors Jim Spinch (James Marsden) and Bill Whilmsley (Nick Frost), the latter being an old friend of Dan's.

Claudio (Elio Germano) is a young construction worker who lives a happy life with his pregnant wife Elena (Isabella Ragonese) and their two children in Rome. They manage together their daily difficulties with love and complicity. One day in the construction site, Claudio discovered the corpse of an illegal Romanian worker who died while working in a drunk state, but decided not to report the discovery for fear that the site would be closed down. His life is further struck when Elena dies while giving birth to their third son Vasco, right after their vacation. This is the beginning of a new phase for Claudio, who now concentrates on becoming richer, and buying "things" to his three sons in the hope of making them happier after the loss of their mum. Claudio blackmails his employer Porcari about the dead Romanian worker, demanding his own construction site to supervise in exchange for his silence. Claudio obtains the whole construction business, and not only the wall building business.
