The film stars Ravi Teja and Ileana D'Cruz in the lead roles, and marked the third time they were paired together, having earlier being paired in Khatarnak and Kick. The film was co-produced by Reliance Entertainment and Bhogavalli Bapineedu. The soundtrack of the film was composed by Raghu Kunche, while the cinematography was handled by Shyam K. Naidu. S. R. Shekhar who previously worked with Puri Jagannadh for Business Man handled the editing of the film.
The film was released on 15 August 2012 and met with predominantly negative reviews from critics. Gemini TV bought the telecast rights for the film, telecasting it for the first time on television on 23 October 2012. The film was later dubbed in Hindi under the title "Dadagiri" by GoldMinesTeleFilms.
Synopsis
The movie opens with Lord Vishnu (Bramhanandam) trying to pacify Lakshmi Devi (Kovai Sarala), who is quite disappointed after listening to words of Narada that Lord Vishnu didn't gave any present to Lakshmi Devi on the eve of her Birthday (Akshaya Tritiya). Lord Vishnu shows a love story between 2 orphans Ravi Teja (Ravi Teja), a settlement broker in Hyderabad and Ileana (Ileana D'Cruz), a taxi driver living in Bangkok.Actors

Chanti (Ravi Teja) is the son of a head constable (Kota Srinivasa Rao). Chanti is a guy with carefree attitude. He is beaten by a rival gang at night and was rescued by a beautiful girl Suchitra or Suchi (Rakshitha). She pays his hospital bills and donates her blood. An auto driver, sees Mattu Bhai (Ashish Vidyarthi) murder a journalist. The auto driver manages to capture Mattu Bhai & his henchman, and hold them until the Police arrive. Afterwards, the auto driver returns home to his wife and son, Charan. Unfortunately, Mattu Bhai & his henchmen break into their house that night. The auto driver is killed and his wife is severely injured. Charan survives uninjured. Charan's mother is in a critical condition but he & his uncle don't have enough money to pay for her operation. The local mafia leader's son has committed murder and offers Charan a deal. In order to pay for his mother's surgery, Cherry has to go to prison the crime.

Corrupt Central Minister (Rao Ramesh), is facing accusations over possessing black money of one hundred thousand crore, and money laundering it into Europe, through his un-suspecting daughter, Akanksha (Catherine Tresa), a psychology student who goes to Barcelona to pursue higher education.
