The plot revolves around two geeky teenagers from Encino, Los Angeles, California, played by Astin and Shore, who discover a caveman in Astin's backyard frozen in a block of ice. The caveman, played by Fraser has to learn to live in the 20th century. Along the way, he teaches them about life. It was followed by a TV movie spin-off, Encino Woman, in 1996.
Synopsis
During the first ice age, a caveman (Brendan Fraser) attempts to make fire with his girlfriend (Sandra Hess). An earthquake causes a cave-in that buries the two of them.Actors

Goofy is the single father of a teenage boy named Max Goof in the town of Spoonerville, Ohio, though the two have a tense relationship. On the last day of school before summer vacation, Max and his best friends P.J. and Robert "Bobby" Zimmeruski hijack the auditorium stage in the middle of Principal Mazur's speech, creating a small concert where Max performs, while costumed as the pop singer Powerline. The performance succeeds in making Max a school celebrity and impressing his love interest, Roxanne; but he, P.J. and Bobby are sent to Mazur's office. Roxanne speaks with Max and agrees to go with him to a party where Powerline's concert will be aired live. However, Mazur exaggerates these events to Goofy and forewarns him that Max's actions may result in him facing capital punishment.

Chazz, Rex and Pip are in a Los Angeles rock band called The Lone Rangers who are continuously turned down as they try to get their demo tape heard by producers. After scolding him for being lazy, Chazz's girlfriend Kayla kicks him out of her apartment. They decide to try to get the local rock station KPPX to play their reel-to-reel tape on the air and attempt to break-in through the back door. Bud "Squirrel" Macintosh (Shore) and Doyle "Stubs" Johnson (Baldwin) are best friends who live together in the same house. As the movie opens, Bud wins a round of Rock, Paper, Scissors and gets to hit Doyle in the head with a book. Soon after, their girlfriends Monique (Adams) and Jen (Hill), arrive to take the two boys to an Environmental Party when they discover the injured Doyle. Although they are sympathetic at first, the girls learn that the book was used to injure Doyle as an excuse to not go. Disgusted, the girls decide to exact revenge and call the boys from a payphone to announce they'll be joining some hot swim team guys at a party down by a lake. Jealous, Bud and Doyle drive out to the lake, only to find there is no party, and they have been had.

Coinciding with the worst drought ever, much of the world's water is polluted. The evil Botijola plans against the meeting of the world's top agents, intending to eliminate them all. His intention is to replace all water in the world with the awful beverage that carries his name, that contains no water in its formula. To accomplish this, he plans to abduct the scatterbrained professor Bacterio who has invented a machine that converts water into energy and moves it elsewhere, to get him to work for him. He does this by using quick change artist Todoquisque disguised as Filemón. Nevertheless, there is one thing that Botijola did not count on. Bacterio has thwarted him by hiding the pieces of his invention in different historic moments, utilizing a time machine he built.

The Stooges work at Dimsal's Drug Store in Ithaca, New York, where they befriend Schuyler Davis (Quinn Redeker), the owner of the shop next door, who is attempting to build a time machine. With the boys' "help", the machine transports the boys, Schuyler and disaffected girlfriend Diane Quigley (Vicki Trickett) back in time to Ithaca in ancient Greece during the reign of the lecherous King Odius (George N. Neise). The King, after defeating and imprisoning Ulysses because the Stooges are believed to be gods, has a yearning for Diane. Orville (Lou Costello) is the oldest orphan at the Hideaway Orphans Home.
