Synopsis
The film begins with Larnell (John Patrick Jordan) pacing around in his new dorm room, looking afraid. Responding to a sudden knock at the door, Larnell admits Alister McDowell(Brett Chukerman), whom he had called over. Asked how things are going, Larnell admits to Alister that he is on the run, having burned down the college's administrations office from a belief that the reason their parents are forcing them to go to school is because they are being taken control of from underneath the government, trying to control their minds into becoming like them. He is even considering writing a number one best seller about it. Larnell also tells him that Bachman (Mitch Eakins) now has a job at Sloppy Burger and remains his roommate. Alister asks Larnell why he called over and Larnell tells him that something has gone wrong with Bachman. Bachman then returns from work and starts describing how his day had gone, which had led to him being fired, until he drops onto the floor, fast asleep. Larnell explains that this was what he was trying to tell Alister. Alister explains it as narcolepsy and that Bachman needs medical help. Larnell also explains that he and Brett (Brian Lloyd) also have problems. Brett and his girlfriend Luann (Robin Sydney) both come to the apartment, where Brett is shown to have gained substantial weight. Larnell then suddenly starts humping Luann's leg, and explains to Alister that his sexual urges make him pounce like a cougar. Alister then realizes that Larnell, Bachman and Brett were the first ones to smoke from the bong and are the only ones who were killed within the bong world, which is probably the reason for neither Luann nor Alister experiencing side effects.Actors

Nerdy college student Alistair McDowell (David Weidoff) moves in with law school drop-out Larnell (John Patrick Jordan), typical "surfer-stoner" Bachman (Mitch Eakins) and former baseball player Brett (Brian Lloyd). During Alistair's stay, Larnell sees an ad for a large bong, in which the previous owner claims it was "possessed". After receiving the bong and taking a couple of hits (with the exception of Alister, who doesn't smoke), Brett introduces Alister to his girlfriend Luann (Robin Sydney) and her friend Janet (Kristyn Green), who Alister develops a crush for.

In a Waco, Texas diner called Cadillac Jack's, crazed killer Millard Findlemeyer (Gary Busey) opens fire on the Leigh family, killing Jeremy (James Snyder) and James (Newell Alexander), but leaving Sarah (Robin Sydney) and her mother, Betty (Margaret Blye), alive. At the Scientific Research Institute for the study of Homicidal Baked Goods, The Gingerdead Man is visited by a woman from the FBI (Laura Kachergus), who is revealed to be the sister of Toothless McHomeless of the second one, who was driven to suicide by the previous Gingerdead cookie. As she's about to take her revenge on this "half baked piece of shit", a group of activists for animal rights break into the institute, overpower her, and release the Gingerdead Man and the rest of the baked inmates. The killer cookie comes across the "Time Travel Studies" room, shoots the two scientists, and is sent back through time as security tries to kill him.

Howard (Gordon Jennison Noice) is the meanest nastiest thug in town, a Harley riding criminal with a hot wife Loretta (Jacqueline Lovell). Loretta's problem is she's having an affair with Lance (Blake Adams), owner of the town diner and Howard’s getting suspicious. Driving back from one of their nightly flings, Lance witnesses the local family of weirdos, the Stackpools, dragging a man from his truck and into their house. Seeing this as an opportunity, Lance discovers the Stackpools terrible secret. They are quintuplets but instead of being born as a normal human, they each have one of the traits of one human being: One is extremely strong; one has extremely well-developed senses; one is extremely attractive (Alexandria Quinn); and, one is extremely intelligent. The whole family is run by the one who has super intelligence, the 'head of the family' from the title, Myron (J.W. Perra). Little more than a giant head with hands in a wheelchair, Myron psychically controls his other siblings, but seeks more. When idiotic locals fall for his trap, he experiments on their brains, trying to find a normal body to house his superior intellect. Lance blackmails the Stackpools with their secret, getting them to kill Howard and demanding $2,000 a week in cash. (The Stackpools are rich in oil and coal among other things) Eventually Myron tires of Lance's bottom-feeding, and captures him and Loretta, to get them to destroy the evidence of their secret. To force Lance's hand, he puts Loretta in a mock play of Joan of Arc in the basement, complete with a burning at the stake. The dumb strong one, seeing the 'pretty girl' in trouble, carries her off before she can be hurt, and burns the house down. With the Stackpools and Lance dead, the ever scheming Loretta realizes that the big dumb one is the heir to the family riches. She marries him inheriting all the Stackpool fortunes. The ending, however, suggests that Myron is still alive and is controlling the dumb one again.

Anna Quarrels (Rhonda Griffin), librarian in the Rare Books Room, is approached by Mr. Jamison from the University of Chicago who wishes to study Mary Shelley's original manuscript for "Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus". After he's finished, Anna is about to return the manuscript to the stacks when she discovers that Jamison has switched blank paper for the manuscript and walked out of the library with it. Investigating, she learns he used a fake I.D. to access the Rare Books Room and so hires Private Detective, David Raleigh (Justin Lauer) to track him down. David finds fingerprints on the sign-in sheet and discovers the man claiming to be Jamison is really Dr. Winston Berber, an unscrupulous scholar with doctorates in Physics, Mathematics, Folklore, and Philosophy. Berber (Bill Moynihan) is meanwhile gloating over his collection of rare manuscripts; along with the Shelley manuscript, he has obtained the originals of Guy Endore's "The Werewolf of Paris" (1933) and James Putnam's "Mummy" (1993). He now seeks the first edition of Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (1897) to complete his collection. Berber has invented an "Archetype Inducer" and plans to use the manuscripts to bring the four greatest monsters from horror history to life to do his bidding.
