It was directed by Masaya Fujimori, and its screenplay was written by anime staff writer Masashi Sogo, while Mashima was involved as the film's story planner and character designer. The film stars the regular television cast of Tetsuya Kakihara, Aya Hirano, Rie Kugimiya, Yūichi Nakamura, Sayaka Ōhara, Satomi Satō, and Yui Horie. The film also features Aya Endō as the titular priestess Éclair, and Mika Kanai as her birdlike companion Momon. The film was released in Japan on August 18, 2012, and on Blu-ray and DVD in North America on December 10, 2013.
Synopsis
Éclair (エクレア, Ekurea), a priestess from Fire Village, escapes a raid from an invading army with one of her village's two mystical Phoenix Stones in her possession, but loses consciousness. Years later, Lucy Heartfilia finds Éclair and her birdlike companion Momon (モモン) collapsed on the streets of Magnolia while returning home from a failed mission to catch a bandit gang leader. Lucy brings the two to Fairy Tail's guildhall to recover and introduces them to her friends Natsu Dragneel, Happy, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scarlet, Wendy Marvell, and Carla. Hearing a premonition from Carla, Éclair leaves to enter the monster-filled Boundary Forest. Lucy and her friends offer to accompany Éclair to protect her, to which Éclair reluctantly agrees, telling them that she despises wizards and magic.Actors

The movie begins with a young girl, Julia Crichton, waking up from a dream about the day her family was forcibly taken from her home by soldiers beside her older brother Ashley, who is currently studying their parents' alchemy books. Ashley then shows his sister some pages and explains that with the alchemy in the book, he hopes to make a world that no one's seen before. Soon after discovering two strange rubbed-out pages, the siblings hear some strange noises and Ashley goes ahead to investigate, but a worried Julia follows to a room where she finds the bodies of her parents hung up and dripping blood. Mametchi explique alors à Kikitchi que la bibliothèque volante est un vaisseau volant qui contient des livres magiques que les enfants transportent magiquement et fait le personnage principal quand ils les lisent. Juste à ce moment, l'ouïe sensible de Kikitchi capte le son de la corne du vaisseau. Bien que personne d'autre ne puisse l'entendre, le vaisseau apparaît au bout d'une minute. Les frères et sœurs Otogitchi, qui s'occupent de la bibliothèque, descendent le navire et descendent un escalier que les enfants Tamagotchis escaladent avec empressement.

While working in a cinema, Gintoki comes upon a "movie thief" (a figure in Japanese culture often depicted as a man with a video camera as a head, stand in as someone who illegally film in cinemas). After scolding the movie thief for his actions, he finds himself warped into another world via the camera lens. In this world, 5 years have passed, and not only has the land of Edo changed into an apocalyptic wasteland, but it is stated Gintoki has died. The movie thief, or Time Thief the time machine, explains mankind is close to extinction, and gives Gintoki an item to disguise himself. After the Time Thief is damaged by criminals, Gintoki encounters his freelancer comrades: Shinpachi Shimura, who has turned into a cool samurai with no trace of tsukkomi, and Kagura, who has changed into a beautiful woman with no Chinese speech pattern. The future's Gintoki is assumed to have died as a result of the "White Curse." Kagura and Shinpachi have been trying to deal with their leader's disappearance and Gintoki, disguised thanks to the Time Thief, tries to help them overcome their sadness.
