Find a Place to Die (1968) (aka Joe... cercati un posto per morire!) is a spaghetti western starring Jeffrey Hunter and Pascale Petit. It was co-written and directed by Giuliano Carnimeo (credited as Anthony Ascott) with sequences directed by Hugo Fregonese who also produced the film.
Synopsis
Piero Lulli et sa fille sont prospecteurs et finissent par trouver un filon dans une mine d’or. L’ennui, c’est qu’ils trouvent aussi des problèmes… La bande de Chato est bien décidée à rafler la mine à son profit. Dans une fusillade, Piero est blessé et reste bloqué par des gravats qui lui sont tombés dessus. Il conseille à sa fille de le laisser là, mais elle insiste pour aller chercher de l’aide. Elle se rend donc à l’aveuglette dans le désert et arrive dans une église abandonnée où elle convainc après bien des efforts Joe Collins, 3 mexicains et un curé étrange de l’accompagner à la mine en leur promettant qu’ils pourront se payer sur l’or qu’elle et son père avaient amassé…Actors

Bounty Hunter Sartana is eagerly awaiting to kill or capture a wanted man who is riding shotgun on a shipment of gold. Interrupting Sartana's picnic and bounty hunting, a gang of Mexican Bandidos kill all the outriders but leave the gold intact and ride away but not before throwing dynamite into the wagon. Sartana prevents the explosion and discovers the gold sacks in the wagon are full of sand.
