The video was premiered on July 15, 2012 and was later made available to download digitally on October 19. In the music video Psy "pokes fun at the style of Seoul's Gangnam-gu, a flashy district with high rents, high expectations and a focus on the high-status lifestyle". In December 2012, the music video hit 1 billion views in the video-sharing website YouTube (becoming the most viewed video of all time) and in June 2014 the video gained 2 billion views. The video now has over 2,417,112,155 views (as of September 21, 2015) on YouTube, well exceeding the previous limit of a 32-bit view count of 2,147,483,647 which had to be updated to a 64-bit view count in December 2014 solely due to this video's popularity.
Synopsis
The video starts out with Crazy dancer Won Ah-yeon, fanning Psy, who is lounging at what looks like a sandy beach, under a sun umbrella and holding a cold drink, but the camera zooms out to reveal he is actually at a playground. The video then alternates between the playground, where a boy (Hwang Min-woo) dances next to him; and a row of horses in stalls, where Psy performs his signature "invisible horse dance". As Psy (and two girls) walk through a parking garage, they are pelted by pieces of newspaper, trash, and snow. At a sauna, he rests his head on a man's shoulder, dressed in blue, while another man covered in tattoos is stretching. He then sings in front of two men playing Janggi (Korean chess), dances with a woman at a tennis court, and bounces around on a tour bus of seniors. The scenes alternate quickly until there is an explosion near the chess players (portrayed by Big Bang members Seungri and Daesung), causing them to dive off the bench. Psy immediately walks towards the camera, pointing and shouting "Oppan Gangnam Style". The chorus starts as he and some dancers perform at a horse stable. He dances as two women walk backwards. He dances at the tennis court, a carousel, and the tour bus. He shuffles into an outdoor yoga session and on a boat. The camera zooms in on a woman's rear end, then shows Psy "yelling" at it.Actors

Avec l'arrivée du cinéma parlant et les prémices du Technicolor les grandes compagnies cinématographiques hollywoodiennes décidèrent de mettre en chantier ce que l'on n'appelait pas encore "superproduction". De fait il s'agissait de réunir dans un même film l'ensemble des acteurs composant leurs écuries respectives. Ainsi la Warner Bros. fit-elle réaliser son The Show of Shows tandis que de son côté La Métro sortait Hollywood chante et danse rassemblant ses comédiens parmi lesquels naturellement Stan Laurel et Oliver Hardy. Pas de scénario dans ce fil qui est composé d'une succession de numéros musicaux pour lesquels les acteurs furent invités à faire un peu le contraire de ce qu'ils faisaient d'habitude à l'écran. Laurel et Hardy s'en tirent plutôt bien en jouant les présentateurs magiciens.

In 1968 Australia, Gail and Cynthia head into town for a talent contest and their young sister, Julie is forbidden to go because she has a child and is too young, until she bribes a fellow neighbour to take her into town. An alcoholic, Irish talent scout, Dave Lovelace, is scolded by his boss for being late despite him sleeping in his car that is near work. After the girls lose the talent contest, even with Julie coming in, Dave gives Gail her guitar back and as Dave is about to leave, Julie hands him a piece of paper, showing that the troops need singers for Vietnam. Soon, Dave goes to make a call and he says they have been accepted a spot to audition in Melbourne. Back at their place, Gail, Cynthia and Julie's mother tells him he can take them but Julie until Julie's father tells him not to worry about her. Advised by their grandmother, they meet up with their cousin Kay, who had been living in Melbourne for 10 years. She rejects the offer of joining them, but later changes her mind and meets up at their uncle's place. After days of training their moves, they are almost ready until Julie gives Cynthia a letter from her fiance that he is going to call it off. Despite that, they manage to audition very well and Kay comes up with the group's name, The Sapphires, after looking at Cynthia's engagement ring.
