Without the high-tech computer graphics and three-dimensional techniques that dominate the animation industry, the film was hand-drawn in pencil, with 14 animators using 100,000-plus sheets over a period of 11 years. It premiered at the 15th Busan International Film Festival in 2010 and competed for the top prize at the 2011 Annecy International Animated Film Festival.
Set in a 1970s rural town, Green Days: Dinosaur and I is a nostalgic coming-of-age story about a high school girl who struggles to find meaning in her existence and learns to confront her biggest fears, while also falling in love for the first time. Yi-rang (voiced by Park Shin-hye) has all but given up on her athletic aspirations, when she meets Cheol-soo (Song Chang-eui), who dreams of becoming an astronaut, and Soo-min (Oh Yeon-seo), a transfer student from Seoul. The film follows the adolescents' budding romance, growing pains, hopes and dreams.

Synopsis
Yi-rang is in a race and falls behind. To save herself from shame, she fakes a fall. After that competition she resolves to never compete again. A new transfer student from Seoul comes to school. Her name is Soo-min and all the boys fall for her as she is very pretty.Actors

The story begins with the pledge; Eon-Joo, So-Hee, Yoo-jin and Eun-young pledge that they will die together that night and that if for some reason they didn't then they would still keep their pledge to die. Eun-Joo jumps from the roof of her Catholic school, committing suicide and falling to her death. Her sister Jeong-Eon, waiting for her outside, sees her jump. The next day in the school office; Jeong-Eon, So-Hee, Yoo-jin, and Eun-Young all swear that they all left for a while, and that Eon-Joo wandered off to go to the restroom then jumped off the roof. Documentary filmmaker Da-hae (Song Hye-kyo) loses her fiancé by a hit and run accident on her birthday. But she forgives the criminal who was a 15-year-old boy based on her belief as a Catholic and signs a petition for him to revoke the juvenile's death penalty. One year later, Da-hae is commissioned by the Catholic Church to make a documentary on the inhumanity of capital punishment. However, her moral convictions and desire to be compassionate are seriously questioned when she finds out that the teenage driver killed a classmate, not long after his reprieve.

Lee Yong-go is a mentally impaired father with the intellect of a six-year-old, who lives in a run-down house along with his daughter of the same age, Ye-sung. One day, he gets into a physical altercation with the police commissioner, who has just purchased the last Sailor Moon backpack for his daughter, a gift Yong-go was saving up to buy for Ye-sung. Soon after, the police commissioner's daughter dies in a freak accident, in which she slips on ice and suffers a fatal blow to the back of her head while she is taking Yong-go to another store that sells the same backpack. When he tries to resuscitate her, a woman witnesses him and mistakes him to be molesting her. Yong-go is falsely accused of the abduction, murder, and rape of a minor. The police quickly took advantage of his disability and forced him to admit committing the crimes while ignoring exonerating evidence. Yong-go, who is sentenced to death, is imprisoned and assigned to Cell No. 7, the harshest cell in a maximum security prison.

The film starts with a modern-day press conference, in which Jo Dol-seok is introduced as the only royal tailor, who single-handedly revolutionized the fashion of Korea's Joseon dynasty. Before one of his works is shown, the scene changes to the kingdom of Joseon, where a different story is told: Jo Dol-seok has tailored clothes for three generations of kings before finally becoming the head of the Sanguiwon, the department responsible for the royal attire. Jo was born a commoner, and looks forward to upgrading his social status after serving the royal family for thirty years. Careful to use the traditional rules and patterns, Dol-seok denies the queen's request when she asks him to replace the king's robe that was accidentally burnt by a gungnyeo (female attendant). He insists that to do so would be against court customs, but also simply impossible in the short time before the robe is needed. Anxious to cover her mistake, the queen looks for a designer elsewhere. She is introduced to Lee Gong-jin, a young designer whose good looks and expertise at making unconventional hanboks have charmed many women in the capital; he is portrayed in the film as inventing the bell-shaped design of hanboks and introducing new colors. Gong-jin falls in love with the queen at first sight and uses his extraordinary gift as a tailor to save the dress. He subsequently becomes a tailor at the Sanguiwon and begins a prosperous career. He repeatedly uses his craft to support the queen, who is at risk of being dethroned and replaced because she and the king - who never visits her - have no children.

Troubled by the growing worldwide trend of pop singers being elected as politicians, the President of South Korea orders his Chief Secretary to invoke "Emergency Act 19". This new law criminalizes all pop singers, and the army is deployed on the streets of Seoul to round them up. One pop star, Hong Kyung-min, is arrested while performing a concert, but his angry fans mob the soldiers as they try to take him away. The Chief Secretary's teenage daughter, Min-ji, is amongst the fans, and leading her idol to safety gives him her phone number. Kyung-min finally makes a getaway with his friend and fellow pop star, Kim Jang-hoon.
