Synopsis
Tout comme sa mère qui les a abandonné, Viviane a quitté sa famille. Elle essaie de renouer avec les siens, vivant toujours sur l’île d'Orléans. Son père et sa jeune sœur ont développé une relation complice et trouble où le souvenir de ceux qui les ont quitté est omniprésent et dans laquelle il n’est pas facile de s’immiscer. L’équilibre de Viviane est mis à rude épreuve par les siens et par les souvenirs qui la hantent.Actors

Céleste (Monique Spaziani), a jazz pianist, has reached the twilight of her years. Alone in her New York apartment, she looks back on her life and decides to record it all in a diary that she sends to her estranged son, Blaudelle (Gabriel Arcand). L’action se déroule au Québec où trois travailleurs de l'Est de Montréal partent pour une fin de semaine de chasse en forêt. Pour ces hommes d’un milieu modeste, la chasse représente liberté et compagnonnage viril. Les trois amis, accompagnés du fils de l’un d’eux, passent la première nuit de leur périple dans un motel où ils boivent et harcèlent la serveuse du bar. Manon is a precocious 13-year-old girl living with her mother Michelle and intellectually challenged uncle Ti-Guy in Quebec.
