Har Pal (English: Every Moment) is an unreleased Indian film directed by art cinema director Jahnu Barua, who previously directed the critically acclaimed Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara (2005). The film stars Preity Zinta, Shiney Ahuja and Isha Koppikar in leading roles. Dharmendra appears in a supporting role as Zinta's father. The film relates the love story between two neighbours, played by Zinta and Ahuja, who are paired together on-screen for the first time.

The story of Ajeyo takes place in a village of Assam in 1946, just some time before India’s independence and partition. Gojen Keot (Rupam Chetia), an honest yet short-tempered young man, lives alone with his grandmother. By doing some odd jobs here and there, he struggles to earn proper livelihood. He supports Gandhi and believes that once India becomes independent, social injustice will end. Though he dropped out of school, he tutors the no-caste Muslim girl Hasina (Jupitora Bhuyan). Once as a rookie participant in the freedom struggle he failed to deliver a note to a team of marching protesters against the British that caused the lives of two freedom fighters. He regularly battles ghosts of his past related to this incident.

The story is set in the colonial period in Assam. The film deals with a young woman who has to give up her university education for her arranged marriage with a rich tea-planter. The plantation and its social routine become a prison of boredom for her since her husband completely neglects her for his business. Things get worse when she discovers, outraged, that her marriage was for the sake of wiping off a huge debt owed by her father. She considers herself as having been sold to her husband. The story is set in 1962, the time of Sino-India war. It revolves around a widowed teacher named Ritu who is transferred to Koronga, a small Assamese village. The school here was destroyed by fire ten years earlier. Ritu takes on the challenge of rebuilding the school and starts campaigning among the villager. Ritu manages to build a school. It starts functioning under a large village-tree. Then comes a supposedly 'son of the soil' who, having lost his job there, wants to take over the school. When Ritu fights back against the threats and even physical assault, the man brings his ruffian friends and sets fire to the school house. She has to return with a heavy heart. However she is comforted by the promise of the inhabitants of reconstructing the school so that no one can suppress the spark of knowledge.

The story revolves around an imaginative and intelligent 11-year-old boy Kukoi (played by Ronik) who runs away from his village home and starts working in a motor garage in a city. One day the owner attempts to molest Kukoi. In self-defence, Kokoi hits the owner with an iron rod killing him on the spot. Kukoi is produced before court and then sent to state juvenile home where he is traumatized. Biswa Boro, the warden of the home, is an understanding man. He coaxes the boy into a confession of the true circumstances of the painful event. Kukoi is brought before the magistrate who orders his release and custody to his parents or any authorised guardian. Biswa goes to Kukoi’s village where he discovers that the boy’s mother died years ago and his stepfather has disowned him. Biswa, who is now retired and does not have children, decides to adopt Kukoi.
